Huge pickup for AU... 6'7 300 lb tackle, most likely starting at RT next year, committed at 8:00 AM today. Kid is an absolute monster on the field, just pancakes the hell out of kids. Gonna be blowing up huge holes for Running Back U!

That fills out our OL class, one of if not the Best in the nation, with Cooper still on-board for the moment with a grayshirt but to be honest if I was in his position I would probably take a full sholly immediately with the team I was raised to love. Either way its nice to know we don't "need" him in this particular class, as much as it would be great to get him.

War Damn Ziemba!!!!

That is a major pick up for Auburn. I wonder how the Razorbacks feel about it. I'm guessing it's just more ammo to use against HN.

I wouldn't say more ammo to use against Houston Nutt...but right now with the current state of affairs at Arkansas, how could you blame Ziemba for going to Auburn.

Very true. The guy grew up in an Auburn family. Not to flame Arky or anything but it doesn't look too good up there right now. Do you think Nutt will make it through all this mess?

He was never coming to Arkansas. Both parents were AU grads. We get really bent out of shape here when big recruits go elsewhere. It happens in other states all the time. Ziemba was a special case. I don't think most Hog fans ever expected him to come here. Congrats on getting a really good player.

I think most held out hope anyway that Ziemba would be a Hog. Especially after Gameday was in Fayetteville and Ziemba showed up and seemed impressed by it all. Alot thought that momentum was building and he may end up being a Razorback.
If I was a betting man, I'd say Nutt will make it through all of this mess.

I knew he was gone the moment he said on that sports radio station that the Razorbacks' winning streak last year was making the decision harder for him. If he was a Hog, it would have made it easier or even clinched it.

Oh, and I didn't think he was very good anyway. :)

Hahah, yeah. Taking the #1 and #3 arky prospects is definitely a landmark for this recruiting class. Lee was easily our #1 target.

How could the guy not come to Auburn? Haven't you guys been leaving him love letters on his MySpace page for months?

Its funny, check it out. But before you say anything, I know Alabama fans do it too.

Congrats, the kid is a frickin beast, thats for sure.
