At his press conference introducing Crowton, Miles had high words of praise, pointing out the fact that Crowton has had great success at the college and pro levels. Miles said that Crowton was the only person offered the job.
Crowton had a press conference later in the day saying that he was very excited about being back in the state of Louisiana and is looking forward to working with Coach Miles. When asked about his style of offense at LSU, Crowton said it would be a combination of things that worked for Jimbo Fisher, things that have worked for him in the past, and things that have worked for Coach Miles. He said the offensive staff would determine the best way to score points and win football games with LSU's talent. Crowton is very excited about the talent on the team and excited about the incoming recruits.
