I agree, but I didn't want to look like a homer.

I'm guessing Flynn is the guy? I'm interested to see how well he does when he plays every game.

Our defense takes a hit with graduation and early draft entries, but I think our offense will be much tougher to stop. It could be an offensive fireworks display in Baton Rouge next year, lol......

Yal, can go ahead and crown LSU if you want, but I think they'll have a drop off next year. 9-3, 8-4 possibly 7-5. IMO

An Orlando sports writer picks LSU and Florida to play for the SEC title next year.
It could very well happen.

LSU and UF have QB questions. I wouldn't coronate them just yet. Tebow hasn't shown he can run a passing game yet. I'm not saying he can't, and I know his time in games this year will help his confidence. It should be another great year for SEC football.

i dont think LSU will be as successful since they lose Russel. Lets face it. That guy made plays when stuff looked liek it had broken down. I dont see some kid stepping in and being able to do the same thing in his first year as a starter. There will be a dropoff but there is talent on that team and the next years they will be sick.

And Tebow....lol.....i dont think he is that great. he has shown nothing yet. from what i have seen he looks liek he is a FB

Miles says he will let spring practice produce the starting QB; either Flynn or Perrilloux. Flynn is somewhat proven (Miami, etc.), but so far, Perrilloux is only hype. We'll see which one emerges.

But it should be an offensive show, for sure. Our running game ought to be stellar for a change.

If Perrilloux can move the LSU offense like he can traffick counterfeit money, LSU wins the national championship in a landslide :D

Yeah, the kid's repertoire of talent is immense!

i think if they are close in practice, even if RP is a little better, Flynn gets the nod to start and proceed to share playtime with RP.

miles has shown loyalty to seniors, see Vincent in the sugar bowl this year. Flynn has hung around for long enough, this is his year to lose. its a known fact that Les isn't concerned with blowing out opponents, as long as Flynn can win for us, he'll start, even if RP can get more on the board.

I agree about Tebow. He will have to be much more versatile to effectively run the offense. I think that he will be...just not in '07.

agreed. H got some exposure during this past season but it was basically in all the same situations. Being a QB, you have to go through alot more if you start the whole game and not just "Tebow run Left" or whatever. Not saying he wont be good but like you said above..not yet

1st down - Tebow takes it from the shutgun, run up the middle; second down - Harvin takes a direct snap, hands off to tebow, run up the middle; third down - QB sneak up the middle.

woooo

Ha, well if that's what you're expecting, you're definitely going to lose again next season.

Don't sleep on Tebow....he was our short-yardage RB because we didn't have a RB this year. That won't be the offensive gameplan.

You left out the Tebow Jump Pass. That one is going straight into NCAA 2008.

I've heard from some LSU insiders that the job is Perrilloux's. Obviously if he gets clearly outplayed that won't be the case. However, my source is pretty good. I'd give Perrilloux a 70-30 shot of being the starter next year.

Really? I mean, unlss RP really outplays Flynn in spring/fall ball, I'd think it has to be Flynn with what he's done to this point. I know it's only one game, but he seems like he has all the tools....

Of course, he'd be a much easier target than RP, as he's less mobile, but you sort of have to pick your poison sometimes.

Perrilloux's high school coach has said that once Ryan Perrilloux gets the opportunity to hit the field with some substantial time, he'll never be on the sidelines again. If that's true, it will be great for LSU, but not so good for Flynn. But Flynn is an unusual guy. He's very cooperative and is prone to take the backup slot without complaint if that's the way it unfolds. Spring practice will be easier for the coaches to judge because it will definitely be between Perrilloux and Flynn.

I think LSU is the one game this year for SC that is as close to a definate loss as we have. I think playing in Death Valley will be too tough for us. Having said that I think LSU finishing 10-2.
