BATON ROUGE -- A total of five LSU seniors will play one more college football game as Craig Davis (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174964&Q_SEASON=2006), Dwayne Bowe (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174907&Q_SEASON=2006), Chase Pittman (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174944&Q_SEASON=2006), LaRon Landry (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174956&Q_SEASON=2006) and Daniel Francis (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174948&Q_SEASON=2006) have all been chosen to compete in post season all star games.

Davis, Bo (http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174077&Q_SEASON=2006)we, Pittman and Landry will all take part in the Senior Bowl, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27 in Mobile, Ala. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. and will be televised for the first time by the NFL Network.

Francis, a defensive back from Port Barre, La., will participate in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 20 at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Kickoff for the East-West Shrine Game is set for 6 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.

Francis, who will wear No. 10 in the contest, will play for the East squad in the all star game. He will be coached by NFL legend Don Shula, who led the Dolphins to a pair of Super Bowl titles. As a senior in 2006, Francis played in 12 games for the Tigers, recording 31 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He also broke up three passes and forced two fumbles.

At the Senior Bowl, the Tigers will be represented on offense by two of the top receivers in school history in Bowe and Davis. Bowe left LSU as the school’s leaders in career TDs with 26 and single-season touchdowns with 12.

For his career, Bowe caught 154 passes for 2,403 yards, both of which rank among the top five in school history. As a senior, Bowe hauled in 65 passes for 990 yards and 12 scores. Bowe earned Third-Team All-America honors in 2006 as well as being a First-Team All-Southeastern Conference pick.

Davis, who doubled as a receiver and punt return standout for LSU in 2006, capped his career with 141 receptions for 2,107 yards, both of which rank No. 7 in school history. As a senior, Davis earned Second-Team All-SEC honors as a return specialist after returning 11 punts for 142 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown against Fresno State.

As a receiver, Davis ranked second on the team with 836 yards receiving and he was third on the team with 56 catches.

Defensively, LSU will be represented by free safety Landry and defensive end Pittman at the Senior Bowl. Landry capped his LSU career as one of the most decorated defenders in school history, earning First-Team All-America honors in 2006 after being a third-team selection in 2005.

Landry led the Tigers in tackles three times, including his true freshman season in 2003 and his senior campaign in 2006. Landry completed his career with 315 tackles, 12 interceptions and eight sacks. Landry’s 12 interceptions ties for the third-highest total in school history, while his 315 tackles ranks is the seventh-highest mark at the school.

Pittman, who was a two-year starter for LSU after transferring from the University of Texas, had 27 tackles in 2006. He ranked second on the team with 5.5 sacks
