oh so true. Here is what Herbstreit and the guys at ESPN think of an 11-2 SEC team that beat the #1 & #3 teams in the land. This is from al.com....

Most of the AP voters ran true to form in Auburn's ninth-place finish. The Tigers were ranked eighth, ninth or 10th by most voters. The Tigers won the most support from Joe Giglio of the Raleigh News and Observer, who voted Auburn fourth; and Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian, who said the Tigers were fifth. They were countered by ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit, who said Auburn was 18th. ESPN's Chris Fowler and Mike Radano of the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, Pa., said Auburn was 14th.
