Congrats to the Florida Gators

This message is for all of you Gator fans.

Well, here I am to take my beating guys. What can I say, Florida definitely played lights out and had something to prove with the lack of respect they were given by the media. This is the worst I have ever seen OSU play in my life. OSU didn't show up for the game at all and Florida took them behind the woodshed. They had no emotion. Our offense had no rhythm and the o-line couldn't block Florida's fast defensive front. Troy Smith can't do it all and without Ginn Jr. our offense sucked. I guess 51 day layoff does hurt a lot. OSU has played flawless and awesome football all year long but last night it was nothing but penalty flags, and turnovers. Urban Meyer had a excellent game plan and executed it to perfection. I am wondering how Florida lost to Auburn the way they played last night. Damn, if only the Buckeyes would have shown up to play and not look so lackluster it would have been a good game. Well congrats Gator fans on your national championships this year. Maybe we can meet the Gators in the B-ball tourney.

All I have to say is watchout for Florida next year. They have officially risen to the top and are going to become a annual powerhouse as long as Meyer stays there and keeps recruiting well.

They played like Florida was gonna throw it 30 yards down field every play and hardly ever blitzed. Thats pretty much the exact opposite of what Auburn did to beat UF.

This really means alot to me, the gator fans on this site, and the SEC fans on this site. Thanks! I don't know if you will ever believe me but I was willing to give the same speech should my gators have lost. You talk it, then you walk it. Way to man up and you get +rep from me when I can.

:laugh: Auburn didn't do anything to beat UF! UF did things to beat UF. Some of you Auburn guys are something else. Always using negative comments about other teams to make AU look better. I'll tell you what. If you want to look better, accomplish something on your own, not at the expense of every other team. The only thing AU accomplished with a win over UF, is make us stronger. Meyer said after that game, they refocused and decided what they wanted out of this season. So, thanks for that. Without that loss, we wouldn't be THE F..KING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!

As far as the game, if you read what I posted prior to the game...I wasn't drinking the OSU Kool-aid...I just didn't see how your OL could block our fast DL and knew TS wouldn't pass on the Gator D...I thought it would come down to the Gator "O"....if the Gator "O" played well, I figured we would win comforatably...if not, close game....thankfully for us, it was a good night for the Gator offense. I don't believe it had anything to do with a lay-off or any other excuse...OSU just got their butts handed to them...end of story.

Glad to see you back, KN...you're the only BigX poster that didn't talk "too much" trash...and you're the only one to show themselves since last night...Props to you!!

last time i checked, we beat you and our defense shut you down in the second half. you won the national championship and deserved it as you played great ball, but its obvious to me that the OSU coaches screwed up in the gameplan. I'd swear you're secretly a bammer. You lash out at Auburn as much as anyone lately.

Like many have said ( from several of the schools ), some of you AU guys take advantage of every opportunity to degrade another school in an effort to promote your program. It's not enough for many of you that you had a great season. You take cheap shots every chance you get. It's obviously bred into you at such an early age, you don't even know what you do is offensive. You could've ended your post at played great ball. Instead, since it wasn't Auburn playing, OSU had to mess up for UF to win. When decent people give compliments, they don't mention themselves or end it with an insult. That's selfish and self-serving. It's like you guys have a permanent inferiority complex. Reminds me of a child starved for attention. Look at me, look at me! I couldn't care less about Alabama. I don't base my impressions of people by the school they root for, but by the actions of the people doing the cheering; or in your case, jeering. Simply put, their members in this forum exhibit infinitely more class and objectivity. I'm not the only person upset or bothered by it, I'm just the most vocal and public about calling you on it. Some just don't want to stir the pot, and that's fine. But everybody's different, and I'm not that passive. It's a character defect, I'm sure; but I'll damn well turn the pot over when I know I'm right. Quit drinking that Phenix City water; there's obviously something in it. None of it hurt my feelings. I was merely pointing something out. The people talking about UF's victory have all been congratulatory and said things like, wow, that was dominating. Only AU fans ( and not all ) have mentioned the loss to Auburn. Like you haven't gotten enough recognition for it. It's like saying, " Well, you're the National Champions, but we beat you." " Nah, nah, nah, naah, nah!" The only thing that I find confusing is why it's almost always Auburn fans that do it. And, I'm not only referring to the UF scenario. Obviously, if your the only team to beat UF, you're the only one with a right to make a statement about winning. But, in posts about almost any team Auburn's played, the comments are invariably negative. Personally, I feel that we wouldn't have been in the situation we were in, without the loss at Auburn. My observations are of a more general nature. So many of the posts from AU fans sound whiney and bitter. Jealous. Like: Always the bride's maid, never the bride. In any event, I've said my peace; so, good luck next season and see y'all in Gainesville.
