Is there a link to this anywhere? I'd like to read about it.
He may want to go somewhere where people wont resent him for getting playing time simply because hes daddys boy.

Clemson made the offer a couple of months ago. At the time, it was the only offer. He may get one or two more.
This is the the latest. Not much has changed.

Can't blame him. Playing for Daddy is a pain in high school---can you imagine the pressure if he blows a game? Clemson is just up the road, so it makes sense.

I just read in the Gwinnett newspaper yesterday that Mark Richt's son committed to Clemson yesterday.

Yeah, he's not a lean. He's committed. Personally, I think he should BE committed. I can't believe his dad doesn't mind him being coached by that POS, Bowden. Not to mention, I always thought UGA fans hated Clemson.

They do hate Clemson. Everyone hates Clemson. UGA is about to renew their rivalry with Clemson so that means Mark Richt will be coaching against his son! I read his son is a QB, so does that mean that one day Mark Richt calls for a blitz that would drill his own son to the ground??
I can't wait....

No...we don't play Clemson again until 2013, so he wouldn't be coaching against his own son. This won't help his reputation around here, but Richt is really close with the Bowden family. Papa Bowden had a big influence on Richt's spiritual life, so he felt better sending him to another Bowden. I don't think UGA even recruited Jon Richt.

Yeah, if he was going to be anything special I'd think CMR would've kept him in Athens.

UGA does have not so well known rivalries with Clemson, as well as North Carolina. But I dont hate Clemson, they are probalby my favorite ACC team. I cant wait for the game in 2013.

Not to sound like a UGA hatin arsehole, but anytime a team from SC plays UGA whether it be Klipmsun, USC, or even Furman it becomes an unoffical South Carolina Unity Through Football Day. Everyone I have ever talked to from both Carolina and Clemson hates UGA because they have a story about how they or someone they are friends with have been spit on, cursed at, threatened, chased and so on by a UGA fan/s even when UGA is playing away. I've heard it is especially bad if you wear your teams' colors at Athens.

Hate to say it but that is pretty right on. Most experiences Ive had with UGA fans have been that way. But esp against Florida. I think UGA fans are hostile against USC here lately because of a certain coach who wears the gamecocks visor. LOL A coach who, at Florida, went something to the tune of 11-1 against UGA.
Iva always sain that my two favorite teams are Florida and who evers playing UGA.

How many times do we have to beat a dead horse...every team has bad fans. I went to the USC game last year and ran in to some trash talking Cock fans. It is at all schools.

Yep---I know a ton of classy fans at every school too.
But the sad thing about the South Carolina schools hatred of UGA is that we don't really give a crap about them.

You saying this contradicts what hms just said. There are fans at UGA that DO "give a crap" and will talk just us much crap and have as much hatred.

I thought Clemson fans hated UT for getting them into trouble with the NCAA back in the 70's.

True, but the hatred was rekindled when the Knoxville area papers accused Clemson of spying on UT's practices during the Peach bowl.

LOL I didnt hear about that one. But I wouldnt be suprised at all.
I think bowden jr. is about as low as you could go as far as class in a coach. As Gator U said im suprised Richt is ok with his son playing for such a slime ball. I really should update my hated teams section of my profile. I hate UGA just because of a clean rivalry. Nothing more. Richt is a class act to me and a good coach. (Although not many UGA fans I know are willing to say such nice things about Florida but its all good:happy: ) Clemscum, F$U, and Miami are the teams I could care less for.
Anyways I didnt realize UGA wasnt playing Clemson until like 2013 or so. But... there still is the possibility of Richt meeting his son in the peach bowl. That would be fun to watch!

Judging by the final score, they must have saw something in your practices that helped them win.

Okay, I'll say it...Urban Meyer is a class act and an amazing coach. I know loads of Florida fans that I enjoy hanging out with at the WLOCP every year. Then again, I can only say that about approx. 20% of the UF fans there. Of course, I only like about 25% of the UGA fans there.

Yeah im sure UGA is headed for better things than that as well. If Matthew Stafford does not play in a BCS game or at least the SECCG once in his career then it would be a shame. I think he is going to do big things for UGA in the next few years.

Trash talking OK, but I had a 2 liter bottle (full) thrown at my 7 year old nephew. After the game this moron was letting us into traffic, noticed we were Gamecock fans and rammed the car. UGA also has some awesome fans as well. Like the lady who waited until the cops got there to be a witness that he waved us into the traffic and then rammed us. I do have to admit it was fun watching him ride off in the cruiser though.

Dude, thats at any school. Living in Columbia, I've seen and felt first hand the wrath of some dummies on both sides of the game. Every school has them and its usually the ones who can't control their alcohol intake. Young or old. Perfect example, the FL game at the Brice when USC won. I had to arrest some chucklehead from USC for pushing down an elderly female who was trying to keep him from fighting another FL fan. All he was doing was walking to his car. They wanted to taunt him about FL being overrated.
Get over the UGA fans are the worse statements. I've had my car vandalized at USC games because of the UGA flags and stickers. I've had bottles and other crap thrown at me or my friends as we are going to or leaving. For every unpleasant @$$hole, there are several good ones at USC or any other school, including UGA.

UGA is my favorite team, but I have tons of respect for Florida(I think Meyer is gonna have them on the level with some of the best teams ever in a year or two) , Auburn, Alabama, LSU, SCAR, UK, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss State, and Tennessee(though not as much for the Vols lol).
Clemson is my favorite ACC team, though I do have several likes in the ACC. FSU, NCSU, Virginia, BC.

After that broke I watched the game on Tape and there was about 10 or 15 plays on Offense and Defense Clemson had the right play called against whatever UT had called.
