DE Charles Johnson and RB Danny Ware have both declared for the NFL draft , according to Coach Mark Richt.
I think most fans were HOPING that CJ would stay, but let's face it, he's ready. I'm not really surprised at Ware, either. He'll be lucky to get 20 carries next year. But he will probably do OK on Sundays.
Still waiting on word regarding CB Paul Oliver

Knew Ware was going or transferring. Hate to lose Johnson. Hopefully, Wynn is as good as advertised. He is the starter now.

During his fresman year I thought Ware had so much potential. I was actually worried about facing him for a few years. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, but I also didnt get to see a lot of great UGA plays that I thought I would see. Oh well, hopefully he will turn out to be a good pickup for a pro team.

This is good news for any team who has UGA on their schedule next year. And I mean that as a compliment guys.
Charles Johnson was a force on the football field! I played against him in high school football every year & trust me.. He was every bit as fierce in High School as he was in college. Charles Johnson presence on UGA's defense almost rivals that of Davids Pollacks a few years ago. Notice I dad say almost. LOL
Heres wishing Danny Ware & Charles Johnson a great NFL career!

I didnt see much out of Danny Ware in college so I dont think he will be much in the NFL. He is probably a second day pick for sure.

D.Ware didnt get a fair shake at UGA. I am not sure Richt trusted him with the ball. He had some fumbles last year and one this year against Colorado and that pretty much sealed the deal on him. Its tough to get into a rythm if you are only carrying the ball 6-8 times in a game. If you look at his attempts compared to the other guys, he wasnt even in the same ball park. He has the talent and the build to be in the NFL, if someone gives him a chance, he stands a chance to do fairly well.

Sounds like K. Irons when he was at SC.

Ware might be a bargain in the draft. He could be good in goal line situations and stuff. Hes a better back than what his draft round will show.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE to see Johnson go, but hes great. Hes probably a first or second rounder.

Yeah...we'll miss Johnson. Richt nicknamed him "The Big Bully" because, during spring practice, they had to pull Johnson out of the scrimmages. When he was on the field, the offense couldn't run practice plays because he would blow everything up.
