SEC schools South Carolina, Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas are all playing in Baton Rouge next year. If you're coming to Baton Rouge for a game, here is a heads-up on three "must" eat-at places:

Parrains (http://www.parrains.com/menu.htm (http://www.parrains.com/menu.htm))
Tip: Order The Maurepas - Paneed fresh fish with a pecan meniere sauce and broccoli with hollandaise sauce.

Gallatoire's Bistro (http://www.galatoires.com/html/bistro.html (http://www.galatoires.com/html/bistro.html))
Tip: Order Poisson Meuniére Amandine 19.50 Sautéed filet of either Lemon, Snapper, Tuna, Trigger, Sword or Copia topped with a Meuniere sauce consisting of browned butter, lemon juice and red wine vinegar. (Attention Rednecks: that is not "possum," it's fish.)

Mike Anderson's (http://www.mikeandersons.com/ (http://www.mikeandersons.com/))
Tip: Order The Fried Trio: Shrimp, Oysters, Catfish.

Although you'll find scores of other outstanding restaurants in Baton Rouge, these three are as good as it gets on this planet!

Thanks GeauxTo. All sound good and are making me hungry.

Now, for any of you heading to Lower Alabama to Dothan, let me offer three suggestions for a scrumptious meal....

Waffle House:
Tip: Order the Sausage and Cheese Sandwich with a Double Order of Hash Browns

Arby’s:
Tip: Order the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich with Curly Fries

Hardee’s:
Tip: Order the 1/3 Lb Bacon Cheese Thickburger with Chile Cheese Fries

Geaux: I love what you've done with your house in your sig. I see that you still have this "thing" about letting the moss grow in your live oaks?
