Kolb is the real deal and will make alot of real cash in the NFL. Aldridge is the fastest guy I've seen all year. All in all, I'd say we were lucky to beat them. They came ready and focused to win and "make a statement to the nation that the Conf-USA are as good as teams in the SEC," as they said.
Even if they'd won, I'm not sure what statement they'd make beating a 7-5 SEC team. One Houston board talked about "almost beating an SEC 'powerhouse?'"
Hmmm. Not yet but we're getting there.

If they want to call us a powerhouse, let them, it will be a fitting name in the next few years!

National Powerhouse? Not quite yet. SEC Powerhouse in the next few years? I'll buy that. SC has finally got the coach they need to take them to the next few levels of conference play. They've also started a new streak on what seems to be an ailing Clemson team.
Clemson was touted to be a NC contender. Then they lose to the SEC back to back, SC and UK. I think SC has Clemson's number for the next couple years.

SOS called it right after the end of the Carolina/Clemson game. His comment on radio was that Clemson had won enough of these things. "Our streak starts today!"
