There has been some talk that LSU might not have Jimbo Fisher as the offensive coordinator for the Sugar Bowl game against Notre Dame because he was considered the leading candidate for the North Carolina State job, but that is not the case. Tom O’Brian from Boston College was hired late last night to fill that vacancy. Fisher's name is still being mentioned for a couple of more jobs. If Fisher is hired as a head coach, he might decide to wait until after the Sugar Bowl to start his new job, but he'll probably want to get started recruiting as soon as possible and leave immediately. If Fisher is not with the team for the Sugar Bowl, the offense will not skip a beat with Les Miles calling the plays. He does that better than Fisher, IMO.

I know it's your opinion. but I think it is wrong. I think the problem with our offense at times is Les, but I guess we'll see in due time. While I disagree with you I also think that Jimbo is getting somewhat stale as an OC. I hope when he does leave (this year prob.) we can get a VERY IMAGINATIVE oc to come to LSU.

I'd love to have Borges. He likes to eat; maybe we can sway him!
There ya go. I'll fix him some Jambagetti. Jambalaya made with spagetti for you who don't know. It's the $hit.

i'd like to see how the offense would run without Fisher.

depends on who they replace him with. different coordinators bring different style of plays. i just hope miles doesn't take over play calling. he couldn't coach his way out of a burning paper bag filled with sh*t

i agree with you. i'd like to see a 3 or 4 wide offense run regularly, with one or two running backs in the backfield by the quarterback in shotgun. spread the offense and utilize the speed of the skill players. it would sure beat the i-formation running for a yard or two the first couple plays then making Jamarcus go perfect on third and fourth downs.
