Thanks there sure wasn`t a darn thing easy about this game. My hat is off to Ky for a hard and I mean hard fought ball game. I really don`t know what else to say. I am completly worn down.The Vols come up big on 4th downs against the blue. The delay of game with 2nd and goal at the 3 was huge.

Again the best team won and thats how it should be.....though I'm somewhat heartbroken that UK was this close to a big win. I hope this puts UK on the up and up from here on out in football. Whats really funny is UK won everything in the stats dept. just didnt win the game and thats the only stat that counts last time I checked.

You guys seem to get awfully conservative down close. You passed the ball all day on us and Woodson looked fabulous, but he didn't get many opportunities to shine near the goal-line.
Still, a damn good game. The Cats came to play knocked the crap out of our ballcarriers on numerous occasions.

They tried running just too much in the red zone on third down....really dissapointed, they had their opportunities to win this game but didnt.

Another hard fought day in the life of SEC teams. Expected a close game but not low scoring. I am proud that our defense made some plays. Congrats to Robert for now having the single season recieving record.

you know us vol and kat fans are giving each other the credit that both teams deserve and a dawg has to come in and put his two cents in....ukat you guys are the hogs of the east....you took randy and let him take you to the next level...not that he is a bad coach i think he had just put his time in at ut, glad to see him doing well....your D stepped up and really stopped anige and our passing game....meachem did have a good game and the running game for ut stepped up....great game it could have gone either way....

UK really deserved to win that game. They shredded the UT defense (what team hasn't this year?) ran all over us and hit the long balls. That Rafael Little is a little beast! I have one question...what do you call a blue and white 300 lb lineman laying on top of an orange and white defensive tackle for longer than 10 seconds? I have no clue and apparently neither do the officials. That was really the only major foul I saw the whole game. And for those of you who weren't aware, Jim Bob Cooter got playing time during the game on the kickoff return team. Great game 'Cats. Best of luck at your bowl game. And a big congrats on finishing third in the East this year. Been a long time coming for ya.

I just got back from a Thanksgiving vacation in the Smokey Mountains. I was heartbroken by the loss. UT pulled out the win, but I thought UK had more than enough chances to win. I thought, agreeing with some other's comments, that Joker (OC) got too conservative in the red zone. And, strangely, for the first time in a long time, we win nearly every statisital battle, and yet it results in a loss (props to UKat for calling that out already). I beleive the Texas State game was the only other game that we outgained our opponent.

Congrats UT. I hope you guys get a decent bowl game. I'm guessing Outback or Chick-fil-A. Good luck.

UK should've won the game our offense didn't play to well at all and our Defense is not to good. As for the UK guy laying on the UT guy. The UK lineman tackled him first and then laid on him which should've been called holding. IMHO, last season was Fulmer's fault not Sanders's.

I'll lay the blame on both of them. Sanders is a great position coach. He just can't call plays. UK was lucky Joker Phillips was calling plays and not Sanders because they could have lost by much more. It was Fulmer's fault for not taking the reins on the offense long before Sanders resigned. Obviously, Woodson has benefited from Sanders' teaching. But the offense runs better under Phillips.
