"The crowd of 23,308 at the Orange Bowl for the Boston College game was the smallest in Miami's 44 home games since Dec. 4, 1999."

Talk about fair-weather fans!!!

I wouldn't wish Miami good luck. I hope they have seasons like this every year. I hate those SOBs.

Did yall see the interview last night after the game with Coker? The reporter blitzed him abou this job and it seemed like they did not ven win the game. He said he was confident that he would still be the coach next year, but it seemed like he was just saying that with no confidence. What happens with recruiting now? I wonder why he will coach the bowl game if they get an invite. If they want to do some recruiting they need a new coach ASAP. I do not see why any blue chip player would want to go to Miami and be in that situation.

It will be a tough situation for the next coach who does get the job. Man what a mess. I see at least 2 mil. or more a year for whoever takes the job. They will earn every bit of it too.

The name dropping on this job is getting ridiculous on CB(les)S. Before the Arkansas game they listed Schiano, Saban, Spurrier, and *drumroll* Tommy Tuberville as possible (however unlikely they may be) replacements.

It really surprises me they talked about how poor the facilities are at Miami. I know the Orange Bowl is old and they probably need a new stadium. How can Miami not get money for these things? I am sure some of the famous alumni wouldnt mind.

Miami could get the Death Penelty and College Football/NCAA would be a better place for it.

I realize that Miami has won a lot in the past, but I have never understood why anyone thinks that is a good place to coach.

The fanbase sucks! They are the only program that I know of that has fans nationwide, yet can't get more than 40k into their stadium when they are winning.

Their facilities suck! There is not likely a single team in the SEC that has worse facilities than Miami.

For everyone to talk about Miami being able to pay a coach so much, you sure couldn't tell it by their facilities and fanbase.
