With F$U at 6-5, this game means alot less now then it did a few months ago. Im sure no one would have thought when F$U was 2-0 earlier this season that this game could look so one sided in favor of UF.
Still this is F$U & what many gator fans consider to be our biggest rivalry (although I still think its UGA).
Here is my take on the current FSU team. They are exactaly like the Georgia Bulldogs. They have great talent and a great coach but arent performing. With that being said they could be a dangerous team if we are caught looking ahead to Arkansas in Atlanta. I think we need a big win NOT ONLY to keep our NC hopes alive but to FEND OFF NOTRE DAME from taking our #4 spot. A close score could spell trouble in the polls for UF.
WCU was a great scrimage warmup for F$U. I hope F$U will be a good warm up for our date with Arkansas in Atlanta.

My prediction: Florida 31 F$U 13 GO GATORS!

I agree, Florida whips FSU up and down the field. And to think, When FSU played Miami early this season I thought the close score was because the teams were so good. turned out they're both mediocre. Gators win this one easily.

Well, UF laid W Carolina to waste with 62 points. Tebow finally got the warm up game he needed to show just what he can do.

FSU barely beat W Michigan 28-20. Who lets W Mich score 20 on them?

Anyway....UF wipes the floor with the Criminoles 36-14.

I want to say this will be close but never really in doubt because Florida really hasn't blown many people out this year, save last week. They've just taken care of business. However, they're also playing a team that lost by 30 and was shut out at home by Wake Forest. I say Florida wins by 17 on the road.

St. Bobby announced that f$u will start Weatherford on Saturday...I'm a little torn...most Gators are happy about this, but X.Lee has shown a propensity to make big mistakes when pressured...Weatherford has been "bipolar"...sometimes he looks very good...most times he looks horrible. This game is being compared to last season when the Gators limped into this game after being beaten by USCe...f$u was riding high after winning their ACC division...UF spanked them in the Swamp...I just don't see f$u hanging with the Gators...it is a big rivalry game, so a close game isn't out of the question, but the "warm-up" vs WCU was just what the doctor ordered for the Gators...the starters got a much needed rest...I think the Gators lay another a-whippin' on the nolies...just makes sense to me.

If Meyer gets it done in Talacrappy, he will be undefeated against some of UF's major rivals. 2-0 against UT 2-0 against UGA & hopefully 2-0 against F$U
Also Meyer has avenged all 3 of our losses from last year. LSU,Bama, & South Carloina.
There just not too much more a gator fan could ask for.

Well, USC and Notre Dame deciding to mutually forfeit their game would help...

I expect great energy/intensity early from the Nole$, but I expect that to dissipate quickly when they get down by two scores. Their OL is so bad I just don't see many points being scored by them, JMO.

This is the same team we faced last season with a worse defense...UF should win this game by 2 scores. I believe Harvin and Caldwell will have big days...also believe James returns another all the way. Tebow should have a lot of fun with their LBs as well.

UF better be ready, though. I don't care how sucky the noles are, this is their bowl game...this game can make their season and lessen the disappointment it has been thus far.

I know some of our gators have a small thread in their section but we need to be cheering our SEC brethren on for this one.

FSU looks weak and I know the gators are hungry for more points after that D-AA beatdown. We also need two 1 loss teams in the SECCG if we want to put a team in the MNC game.

Gators roll in a beat-down that the 'Noles will never forget. I wish it would be something rediculous like OU- 77 aTm- 0, but it will probably be more like..

UF - 38 Noles -7

This is the only game left in the SEC that I thought would be an easy prediction to make. But the more I think about it, the more I think it will be a close one.

UF 35 F$U 13 That's close for FSU, considering the WF shutout.

I'll say Florida 31, FSU 10

ik the noles have had a rough season, but i think this game will be closer than exspected, and will come down to the last few minutes, but UF will win.

If we were playing in the Swamp...f$u doesn't score. But this game is at Doakback, with ACC officials...the last time we played f$u with ACC official...well, let's just say it wasn't pretty. Anyway, this is a rivalry game....most say throw out the records because this is a rivalry game, but I just don't see how the noles could beat us. They are a lot better team than their record indicates...have lots of talented players...but unlike Gator coaches of the past...Meyer has embraced this rivalry and understands it's importance. I believe UF will score a couple of early TDs...then, our special teams scores or causes a TO....UF should win with a similar score to last year's 34-7 win.

No choke job at Arky... they were beaten; they're a good team, but they were beaten... by a better team.

Arky is the SEC West Champion
LSU is the best team in the SEC West

I was referring to the playcalling at the end. If McFadden and Jones control that ball at the end I'd say a 75% chance Arky wins.

Yep, that would have been a better coaching decision, I agree.

And, just prior to that, LSU's coaching could have been much better. When we needed to get a 1st down to control the clock, Arky stacked the box and our dumb bell coaches ran three straight plays right up the middle into the stacked box! When you've got a passer like JaMarcus Russell, you throw the football!

I guess there is always a bunch of woulda, coulda, shoulda.

LOL...sorry, Geaux. If Florida isn't the better team after beating Less-U, you don't get to claim superiority over Arkansas.

I disagree...Arkansas is the best team in the west.

I disagree to your disagree.

I still think ARK is too one dimensional and that LSU is the better overall team.

Thanks, I didn't expect a blow-out like last season because we were playing in Tally...the Gators left a lot of points on the field (missed two short FGs, stupid penalties costing us 1st downs) but still managed to score enough to win. Those ACC refs didn't do to bad of a job...definitely better than SEC refs...but still, f$u got away with trying to kill some of our players, Harvin was carted off the field after their LB hit him late, he had both knees down and the LB gave him a headshot...no penalty. Anyway, Harvin is OK, and we managed to get out of Tally without getting robbed!!!

11-1.....Meyer ain't so bad afterall...;)

GO GATORS!!!!

And how many PI no-calls were there yesterday?

I think Dallas had two or three on him alone.....

Yea...he would've been open for a TD if that DB hadn't grabbed him...then, commits blatant PI when Leak does throw it...yet, no flag.

The Gators put up 400 yds on the 10th ranked defense in the nation...not to bad...but the playcalling is really suspect that reverse pass that Mullen is hell-bent on running during critical points of the game is gonna give me an ulcer...we've run that play like 3-4 times this season and it's worked once...we usually lose 10-15 yds and take ourselves out of position. And my gosh, let Tebow run the ball outside the tackles!!! The kid runs a 4.5 40...let him roll out, if no one is open, he can run...this up the middle crap on 3rd and 1 nearly cost us yesterday, although, I think we got a bad spot on that play.
