Would Bama be better off moving on and hoping to land a better coach or keeping him and trying to turn things around?
I say keep him for at least another year. How quickly do people forget he has been improving this team since he started(in a really bad situation I might add) up until this year. How quickly do some people forget an 11-2 season that was topped off by shutting down the best offense in college football over the last 5 seasons? Bama did have some bad showings against pretty bad teams this year but they also hung in there with the big boys. Considering the players they lost off of last years team I would say that aside from the meltdown against MS. St. the Tide is right about where I figured they would be. I do agree that they have had some problems this year but certainly getting rid of the head coach who took em from being a bad team on probation to a New Year's Day bowl victory in a few short years isnt the best answer.
