I'm thinking it might be the right time for Mike Price. He's done wonders at UTEP, and he and Miami both share a rather "tainted" reputation, so maybe they can heal together.

How come Mark Richt's name is up there and not Spurrier's?

He probably didn't want to contribute to any of the rest of us Gamecock fans jumping off a bridge in despair.

I started to put Spurrier up, but I read an article where he adamantly said that he was staying at South Carolina. Too, he played and coached at Florida, and the bad blood between the Gators and the Canes is old and strong. He probably still has some of those feelings. But, money, I guess, can heal lots of bad blood. We'll see.

Well, Mike Shula does have connections in Miami (i.e. Don Shula, the Miami Dolphins could put in a good word for him, maybe)

Oh, and Butch Davis is already at UNC, so I doubt he will take the Job.

Outside of Petrino and Rodriguez, I think Mike Price is the most talented coach out there.

I agree that Price is a great coach, but not much of a role model. I also don't think placing him in Miami with all those strip clubs would be smart. Remember what happened last time he went to Florida...

BTW, I like the touch up on the signature.

Still not convinced on Price. His record at Washington St was a little so-so.

1989 Washington St. 6-5

1990 Washington St. 3-8

1991 Washington St. 4-7

1992 Washington St. 9-3

1993 Washington St. 5-6

1994 Washington St. 8-4

1995 Washington St. 3-8

1996 Washington St. 5-6

1997 Washington St. 10-2

1998 Washington St. 3-8

1999 Washington St. 3-9

2000 Washington St. 4-7

2001 Washington St. 10-2

2002 Washington St. 10-3

83-78 Overall

Had MP never messed up, he would be Bama's head coach right now. I also don't think we Bama Faithful would see him in a bad light. I did after his debacle. But, folks make mistakes, and MP has learned a valuable lesson from them.

If he wants the Miami job, and the Miami job wants him, he should jump at that opportunity.
