Hey Sports fans if your anything like me this time of year you like to stuff your pockets with some tasty roasted peanuts. Or maybe at home watching the game. I found a awesome and mistake free way to roast, or as some folks say, parch them yourself. I got a call from my little brother telling me this method. He said he had tried it out and there was no way to mess it up. Comes out the same way each time you cook them.

Here's how...

Turn your oven on to the highest temperature. Let the over pre-heat until it has reached maximum heat. place peanuts on a cookie sheet and when oven has pre-heated place peanuts in oven and turn off the oven. Leave over night and there you have it. He said they are cooked to perfection.

Hope all you peanut lovers out there will try this. Enjoy!!

Forget everything I said in the other post about the way to roast your goobers. It sucked. Wasn't done enough for me. so.......

this is the way to do it for real.

In a cold oven place layered pan of peanuts on middle rack, Turn oven on at 400 degrees. Let cook for 19 minutes. (I use a digital timer) remove after 19 minutes and transfers Peanuts to another pan single layer. This will prevent goobers from continue to cook on hot sheet.

Perfect, and there you go.
