Surprised Floyd Patterson hasn't been named.

That's a pretty good list though Gator. I'm not a big Tyson fan though. He belongs in a cage.Yeah Tyson was unbeatable when he had Kevin Rooney as trainer. Tyson was just too one-dimensional with short wing span and virtually no left jab whatsoever. His first manager, Jay Jacobs, always made sure his competition was unworthy.

What about when Tyson had Teddy Atlas?

Not gonna argue with a boxing guy, but Tyson wouldn't be Tyson if he had a jab. He could throw hooks one after another like crazy though.

And damn those uppercuts he threw. They always beat me in Punch-Out.

Yep. Atlas also kept Tyson on a tightrope and even had to use a gun once that caused Cus D'Amoto to cut him loose.

1. Rocky Marciano
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Sugar Ray Robinson
4. Joe Louis
5. Archie Moore

Honorable Mention: Julio Caesar Chavez, Marvin Haggler(always a favorite of mine), Mike Tyson, and Roberto Duran. It's hard for me to even get a list together when I think about it though, having so many favorites.

Chavez, Hagler, Archie Moore, Jack Dempsey, and Willie Pep (the only guy ever to win a round without throwing a punch) would round out my top ten.

He was tough but Soda Popinski used to really tick me off more than any other. I swear that he would cheat, knowing I would dodge his hooks but he would still knock me out. :brick:

I think that was Don Flamingo. Don Flamingo #2 was much tougher than #1 but after #2 was Mr. Sandman, he gave me trouble for a while also.

jbRoy Jones is one of my all time favorites to watch and probaly just as skilled or more skilled than anyone in that list, but he did have his butt handed to him a couple of years ago otherwise he would be in my top 5.

Great vid and RJJ has always done alot for boxing and help up and coming boxers. I don't think he always gets credit for being a good guy as well as a boxer.
