You need to check this one out, my name was on there and a map to my house! I'll bet your's is too. This is not a joke email!!!!! Look on it to see if your name or your spouse's name or children's name! You will be shocked! I was!

Okay folks, I thought this was going to be a joke e-mail but it is NOT!!! This is very true, my folks, my children and several friends are listed here. Send on to anyone you think will be appalled at this invasion of our privacy!

Beginning this month (JULY '06) a new database will be available to the general public free of charge that displays your personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates).

(Soc. Sec. is available for a price.) The database is found at http://www.zabasearch.com/

Type in your name and check...you'll be SHOCKED as I was!

I urge you to forward this email to family and friends.

Check to see if your name and information is in their database. If so and you want it removed, send them an e-mail at info@zabasearch.com to request it be removed.

I do not know how our names are appearing there, but I checked my own and a few other random ones and they are all in this database!

After opting out by email, check back after a few days to make certain your information has been removed. If it has not been removed then file a complaint with your States Attorney General.

Most of the stuff on here is the same as you would find in public records. A lot of it, you are to blame, as the information is pulled out of things you have signed up for and not opted out of the "We can sell your information" option.

It also presents a different forum (the internet) for going to find them. I can find the same information and more on Lexis Nexis. Hell, you can just go to AT&T's website (www.anywho.com) to find people in the same way ZabaSearch does.

This one does reverse phone number lookup.

These sites are vey common. Here are two more. I use them all the time to find phone numbers. It's really nothing more than you can find in a phone book, it's just easier to look up people on the internet.
