We'd have scored more than two TDs if we didn't have so many penalties. The motion calls are pathetic. It could very well be 28-14 (Leak's pick was a TD with more air and Moore's fumble of the first drive stopped our first drive that was looking great).

I'm looking for more 10- and 15-yard in routes against the cover-2 zone with PA to keep the LBs close to the line. I hope Strong/Mattison have something ready for that....

I disagree. They haven't lost a game yet, and they are taking a good LSU team and thrashing them. Unforunately, in order to win the NC in today's world you must be in the preseason top 5 and catch some breaks with the other top teams along the way to really get a chance. Of all the things that has impressed me with Florida the most today is without a doubt Tebow. The way he knocked back the LSU safety was unbelievable. Here's to hoping that Garcia is a carbon copy of Tebow on the football field :happy: !

That's precisely why it's bullshit. Florida proves that they have faced tougher competition and beaten them soundly, but teams like Michigan and Notre Dame get votes (and in ND's case, BCS Bowl Bids) based solely on their winning tradition decades ago. It'll take a Michigan and So Cal loss for Florida to get the No. 2 spot in the BCS more than likely. Fortunately, Michigan still has Ohio State to play at the end of the season. Of course, this is all assuming that Florida wins out in the SEC, and every team in our conference knows that any conference team can beat each other at ANY given time, and considering the kind of schedule Florida has left to play, they sure as hell deserve a shot at the NC if they can win out.

The game was classic...

I knew our D was better than LSU's. Their stats were padded by patsys like Tulane.

Reggie Nelson should be a legit Thorpe canidate. Ryan Smith (Freshman All American @ Utah) now has four ints. in the past two games.
Marcus T.'s return was huge. Russell's mistakes were caused by relentless pressure from a front seven that smothered the run.

UF holding UT to neg yrds rushing should be respected by the BCS after UGA/UT results. I believe that UGA is a good team, despite the lopsided results.

I hope Leak doesn't begin to hear Tebow's huge footsteps. CL is still the best passer, despite TT's theatrics. Leak seemed to get rattled by TT's success. As a result we were unable to put LSU away, despite several turnovers.

Not yet...and I stress the "yet"...after Moore fumbled on our opening drive...Meyer said he started to put Tebow in at RB...he was laughing, but went to say don't be suprised if you see both of 'em on the field at some point this year.

Yea...I told a friend watching the game with me yesterday that I thought if Tebow would take the snap and fake a run, there'd be at least one WR wide open...opposing defenses seem to forget he broke all of the Florida HS passing records as well. I'm glad Leak is there to help him as well...Leak has calmed Tebow...the guy gets so amped up...I think Tebow has charged Leak a little, too....after Leak's 45 yd run vs Bama, he was jumpin' around like Tebow...fun to watch.
