OK Florida State is losing to NC State 7-6 towards the end of the 1st half.

1. How pitiful is the ACC this year, that last year's champ is struggling with NC State?

2. What happened to Florida State, Miami and the rest of the ACC besides Clemson? It seems like there was a complete power balancing this year, with the habitual contenders dropping easy games and the cellar dwellers pulling some big upsets.

3. If NC State pulls this one off, Amato's job is perfectly safe.

Every time I post a possible upset the team-to-be-upset scores. So I'm thinking about deleting this thread and posting something to the effect of FSU upsetting NC State!!!

Wow I just agreed with Lou Holtz on three things in a row. ESPN made Holtz pick his winners in the big games this weekend. Holtz picked Oklahoma over Texas, Tennessee over Georgia, and FLORIDA over LSU. I hope he didn't just curse us.

Yep Shank, he cursed you! Don't worry, it happened to us a bunch of times with him. And congrats to the Wolfpack! It's about time for Big Bowden to chase grandkids and not football players. His days at FSU are numbered IMO.

Could Holtz be good luck? He picked us to beat UT and Bama...Mark May picked us to lose both games....Holtz picked us to beat LSU...Mark May picked us to lose...looks like a pattern...HHMMMM :unsure:

i think may will finally win one over holtz this time : ). By the way, i dont think the gipper likes LSU too much. We need trev alberts back, holtz in the last 2 years have maybe picked LSU to win one game and that was a no brainer. O well i cant wait to see corso put that mike the tiger head on during gameday ahahah

Holtz also said he would feel better about the QB situation at Georgia if they still had David Green or JD Stockey, yes, JD Stockey.

The best news I heard all day was listening to Lou "I love the sound of my own voice" Holtz picking UT. At least "the mouth" is consistent. He has never picked UGA to win anything.
