USC reserve defensive end Kerry Bonds has been dismissed from the squad for violating team rules, coach Steve Spurrier said this afternoon.
Bonds was arrested on a felony assault charge Saturday following an incident with a female student Friday at the East Quad dormitory.
According to the arrest warrant, Bonds “did intentionally grab the victim by her arms, pinned her to the wall, then put her on a chair and held her down by wrapping both hands, one (on) top of the other around her throat, which made it difficult for the victim to breathe.”
The charge of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature is a felony punishable by a maximum of 10 years in prison.

personally I think he has got only a little of what he deserves. Maybe someone needs to get a hold of his a$$ and slap him around a little. Laying hands on a woman like that is the cowards way out!
