It seems that I don't qualify.. I met Bear Bryant several times along with some of his gang. Logan Young's dad and even Mal's dad.

I will as you stated, remember the meetings for the rest of my life. However, a couple of those meetings will be remembered but not for anything your thinking or implying. :closedeye

I also had the priviledge of meeting your shortest tenured coach ever. I was at Jacksons the night Price showed up. I never met Fran, but I can live with that. Never could stand to listen to him talk.

If you spend enough time here, you might well find that I don't abuse what limited power that I have here. I save 90% of it for my staff at my real job! The other 10% for the teams that I coach....Then, I go home and get dominated by the Big Boss!

I like the football discussions here and I am not big fan of people who start flaming wars. The only posts that I have deleted or altered were ones that posters used cuss words. The only posters that I have ever admonished are the ones who start flaming threads.

I look at it as facilitating discussion. I don't always have to say something profound. The way I look at it, if the masses are participating, then it is a good thread! Take last week. The AU/USC thread started w/ a bucket of KFC and ended w/ over 700 replies and over 6,800 views. Not bad for the Col. I must say! :laugh:
