BATON ROUGE -- LSU's game against Florida in Gainesville on Oct. 7 will be televised to a national audience by CBS, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
The game will carry at 2:30 p.m. CDT start time and can be seen in the Baton Rouge area on Cox cable ch. 7. Verne Lundquist will call the action with Gary Danielson handling game analysis and Tracy Wolfson serving as the sideline reporter.
The game will mark LSU’s second appearance on CBS this year. LSU’s game at Auburn earlier this season was also televised by CBS. LSU’s regular season finale against Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 24 will also be televised by CBS.
Other SEC games slated for television on Saturday, Oct. 7 include: Arkansas at Auburn at 11 a.m. CDT on CBS; Tennessee at Georgia at 6:45 p.m. CDT on ESPN; and South Carolina at Kentucky at 6 p.m. CDT on ESPN2.
