On the Monday morning Cold Pizza show on ESPN, the Miles and Russell interview dealt with LSU’s efforts in aiding in the recovery following Hurricane Katrina last fall. Russell housed 20 family and friends, including New Orleans music legend Fats Domino, in his two bedroom apartment during the days following the storm.

It was well documented last fall how Miles and the Tigers served as an inspiration and a diversion for the state of Louisiana following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
