This link (http://www.wilddogdigital.com/Auburn2006/index.htm) will take you to a series of digital photographs of a disputed play in the LSU- Auburn game. They were taken by an LSU fan in the LSU section. The site, wilddogdigital.com (http://www.wilddogdigital.com/), is hosted by Mark Rayner, a local photographer. The photographer wishes to remain anonymous. Here’s Rayner’s explanation of what you’ll see. “The photos provide a unique view to the play that other photos didn’t show. The picture gallery contains all photographs that the photographer took of that particular play. It’s important to note that all photographs are presented in the exact sequence that the play occurred. Images that have an A, B, C, etc. are close-ups of views of the corresponding numbered image. The photographer was familiar with my site and felt that my site could serve as a venue to get the images out so people could make their own decisions about the play. It appears that people have been very interested in seeing the photos. Web traffic to my site for the past three days since the photos were published has resulted in more than 55,000 visits to the site including 335,000 page views and 1,900,000 hits to the photos! The most interesting e-mail I received after publishing the photos was the following:

‘I think that the SEC needs to take a hard look at these and review the other four or five calls that stopped LSU drives on this Saturday. … The NCAA implemented the review system to stop just this type of officiating. But, the SEC will deny any wrong unless photos like these are distributed to USA Today, collegefootballnews.com (http://www.collegefootballnews.com/), Sports Illustrated, Rivals.com (http://www.rivals.com/), The Sporting News, and any others that you can think of.’”

You can't compare AU-LSU to Oregon-Oklahoma; so don't even try to elevate what happened with us to being as serious as what happened out west on that same day.

I think, you need to read General Dick Burlesson's new book about his days as the head of SEC Referees. The man has come on Finebaum's show countless times and shown great composure in defending the storied and revered reputation of the Referees of the Southeastern Conference.

The call should have been holding. Not Pass Interference since the ball wasn't catchable, as evidenced in these pictures. Brock deflected it and it was moving away from the receiver.

Or you got screwed! Deal with it. Remember the Phantom Whistle!

I don't believe I was comparing anything. All I said was I was taking cover since I felt like some of you Auburn fans would be responding to Geaux's post. Thanks for proving me correct.

I was trying to be proactive and defuse any comparisons before they'd be brought up, thus making them Moot Points.
