You gotta love Spurrier and his "Spurrierisms". Earlier this afternoon after commiting to Notre Dame, the Rivals100 CB Gary Gray called and asked if USC would allow him to take an official visit this coming weekend during the Florida Atlantic game.

"Thanks, but no thanks." was Spurrier's comment when asked about Gray's visit. I know most of you are going to say why, but you have to understand Spurrier to understand this fiasco.

Spurrier has never catered to these high profile athletes and I don't feel he's going to start now. See, back in April, Gray committed to USC in such a tacky fashion only to recend that committment a month or two later. For the last month or so, we have been bombarded with the "60-40-ND" and many other trival attempts at getting attention.

He practically insults the Gamecock family and then wants USC to show him some so called "Love"? Well, things don't work that way. He wanted the attention and now he's got it. I personally applaud our coaching staff for not jumping through unreasonable hoops for the typical high school prima donna. Good luck Mr. Gray, you're gonna need it. We want student-athletes that want to be at USC. Not ones that are attention seeking hounds that aren't happy unless they hear or see their name everyday in the local newspaper.

This poor misguided kid. All I can hope is that the ND boosters are going to make his families life a bit better in the short term. I hope they all like the cold ND weather, well really that doesn't matter, cause no one in South Bend will give him the time of day once his college days are over. And now, absolutely no one will give him the time of day in his home state. So, I guess he's what you call homeless. If he stays healthy enough to play in the NFL, he really has nowhere to go after that. The liars at ND won't say that, but anyone with half a brain knows it to be true. Too bad no one in his camp has half a brain. It's not that he went to ND, it's the fact that he made a big deal about coming to SC and then reversed that will leave his name as mud in this area.

Man, Charley Weis or Steve Spurrier??

Darth Visor for me! Wouldn't that be something to tell your grandkids after your playing days were over, etc.
