View Full Version : Croom has got to go....
I have to agree with the MSU faithful. Losing to Tulane is unacceptable and Croom needs to be thrown out on his butt. He's an embarrassment to the SEC.
MSU has hit rock bottom and they're still digging.
What say you?

I think it is VERY possible for MSU to go 0-12. Jasksonville State is a 1-AA team that will give the Bulldogs all they have got.

And probably win the game.
The Scout.com MSU page (Genespage.com) is about to blow up.
Can't say that I blame them though....
Rumor: Slive is looking to deal MSU to another conference. He's already in discussions with the Ohio Valley Conference.

"they don't want us either."

South Carolina almost went to overtime with a Div-Iaa team tonight, I would drop the trash talk Neo. It's not like we're world beaters. But yeah, Croom has to go, MSU fans deserve better....

I'm not saying squat! Those are quotes from MSU fans. Just ask AceLeroy. He will tell you or check it out for yourself.
Either way, MSU should have whipped Tulane. PERIOD!
MSUdawg127: "Auburn's DC commented that we had 4-5 NFL players on our defense and I assume he is talking about Q. Culberson, D. Robinson, M. Heard, and J. Johnson. Well, they will be leaving after this season. I knew we would struggle greatly this season after watching the USC game, but I figured that our defense would keep us in most games. Next season we lose all the studs on defense and All-SEC types on offense like B. Davis, Omarr Conner (today's savior), and B. Anderson. Folks, I know it seems hard to believe but it is possible that things will get much worse here in my opinion. Any other thoughts??"
MSUwins: "Yes, next year will be a rebuilding year. Imagine that rebuilding from a one or zero win year."

Did they score this time?
hotdiggitydog: "we should win 5-6 games because we darn sure won't do it next year. the 'd" will be dessimated. Tulane may score 50 on us next year."
www.firecoachcroom.com is already under construction.
Check it out....
DHJDAWG: "Dear Recruits, please stick with our great University. You will definately get playing time."

clarkkentdawg5: "This site needs to be up ASAP!"
Mboromaroon: "Heck, no sense in brainstorming. Richard Simmons sounds like a viable candidate at this point. At least he'd make sure we used our tight end."

I can say with total confidence that the best team in Mississippi is that of the Golden Eagles. Bulldogs and Rebels take note: a C-USA team is looking good by comparison.
Think about that.
BulldogJeff: "Croom is like Rocky Balboa. I won't lie and say he hasn't been beaten to a bloody pulp. He is taking a beating. But this man has heart and won't quit. That should say something right there. Just when you think it can't get any worse and it will never get any better, just keep trying and it will.
Think of the hundreds of years the Jews were in slavery. They had to endure many hardships but Moses finally led them out. Well Croom is our Moses and the plagues are almost over.
I once had a really bad stomach virus and after 3 weeks of it I thought I was almost dead. But I hung in there and sipped on water and then out of the blue the sun came up and I was a new man and digesting with the best of them.
Don't give up bulldog fans! Only the quitters quit, the winners keep hanging in there until the enemy grows tired of beating us and then we come out swinging and take the championship!"
ProsperityGamecock1: "Didn't Rocky Balboa get irreversible brain damage from that Russian Ivan Drago?"
ozarkdawg: "Tell it to the dodo bird. Look where hanging in there got it"

I really thought that State knew what it was doing in hiring this guy since he had no previous headcoaching experience. But all he appears to be is talk.
His team looks like they play high school ball and not very well at that.
Time to bring in anyone who can turn this around.
Tulane is not a strong team yet they made the Bulldogs look totally inept.
The final score was certainly not indicative of the Tulane dominance.
FIRE CROOM now and let's salvage what we can of this dismal season!!

Apparently Croom is the only one who sees this "progress".
Even the defense seems to have finally had enough as they allowed 32 points to a team which almost went scoreless against Houston last week. And the offensive line is slow and cannot block.
Seems like they have turned back the clock to two years ago at quarterback.
Likely that is necessary as they need a quarterback who is capable of running for his life on every play.
The solution? Fire Croom, and ask to play football in CUSA or something else. The SEC is much too strong for them as they are no longer competitive. and have not been for years.
Oh, and send more scouts to Texas, California, and Florida. They seem to have a bumper crop of football players there and a few just might to play for an SEC team??

I agree except for the SEC part. I don't want MSU to leave the SEC. Just get rid of Coach Croom and get someone like Frank Solich in there.
Can you imagine the old Nebraska Power-I in Starkville? One word....OUCH!
