You Just Got Knocked The F*ck Out!! True, true. That game showed the nation how over-rated Notre Dame is. I wonder what Lee Corso has to say about this...

Probably something like this:

Well, Notre Dame clearly was the better team today, but they got extremely unlucky in the game. The Notre Dame cornerback covering Manningham slipped three times during the game and each one happened to result in a touchdown for Michigan. Also Brady Quinn had the sun come out from behind a cloud at exactly the wrong angle at exactly the wrong time and it happened to cause 3 interceptions. So if you take away the unluckiness of the sun factor, Notre Dame would have had 21 more points because a Heismann winner like Brady Quinn would obviously score a TD every time the sun didn't get in his eyes. And if you take away the 3 slips that the cornerback had because his cleats were messed up then Mario Manningham wouldn't have outrun him for 3 TDs and Michigan would have had 21 points less. So really, when you think about it the Irish won the game 42-26 and blew out Michigan. Brady Quinn threw 6 TD passes and should win his second Heismann (everyone knows he should have won it last year). Notre Dame really should have moved up to #1 in the polls this week, because they are obviously better than everyone else in the nation.

Not even kidding, that's probably a direct quote...

OK with Notre Dame only dropping to #12 or 13 in the polls, is it still possible that they play for the national title? I wouldn't put it past ESPN to bank on it. I don't think they'll run the tables, but even with two losses I could see them earning a BCS at large bid. What do you guys think? That would suck so much. I hope Michigan State beats them and USC pounds the crap out of them.

It would be alot cooler if Stanford and Army beat them.

They got their butts beat. There is no chance of them being in the title game after that whipping. You might overlook a loss like LSU had against AU but not an ass whooping like ND got last week.

Don't forget this is not without presidence. Penn State lost their second game of the season to an overrated SEC team by the lopsided score of 42-21 and won the 1982 NCAA National Championship anyway....

Like someone already said I will not be surprised to see Notre Dame still in the BCS picture after 2 or 3 losses. Hell, if they were 6-6 at the end of the season they'd still be in the Top 15. Not enough protestant voters!!! :brick:
