Arizona players stomped on LSU’s “eye of the Tiger” logo at midfield before Saturday’s 45-3 LSU beatdown of the Wildcats. Auburn players smoked cigars at midfield after smacking LSU, 41-7, in Tiger Stadium in 1999. Neither sat very well with the Tigers, but they would not do likewise. “Our coaches wouldn’t let that happen,” said Tiger senior Will Arnold, "and that's not the way we are."

The LSU Fans were surprisingly loud, but there was one extremely obnoxious moron who tried to hit the eagle with a cup of water. He drenched the eagle and the eagle was flopping around apparently hurt/disturbed, then cops came to detain him and he attempted to hit one of the officers. He ended up knocking the officers hat off and was immediately cuffed and taken away.

Other than that it was a lot of class from both sides.

I'm sure sorry that happened. Seems like there is always at least one idiot in the crowd that ends up embarrassing your school and its good fans.

It didn't change my opinion of the LSU fans... As rowdy as they can be, I met a lot of classy fans and we made a few LSU friends at the game/tailgating that were cool enough to have a beer and enjoy the other games after it was all over. I have never seen a visiting crowd who could yell and carry on fight chants that were heard throughout the stadium. Alcohol makes people do stupid things, and that guy has a likely jail sentence and extreme fine to pay.
