Tolerable, but I don't think there are two SEC teams higher than LSU.

I agree, I would have LSU ahead of Florida.

Also, I'm still not impressed with Notre Dame- they are good, not great. Penn State gave that game away, and they(PSU) lack speed in their Front Seven.

True, but it's Notre Dame. They get bonus points for fielding a football team.

Georgia is on the move. They have moved from 15 to 9 in two weeks.

Defintiely Auburn...but why not UF? We spanked two bowl teams in our non-conference slate.

Can't say that about the tiggers.....the Zone isn't going bowling, and LAL is an afterthought.

And USC (the fake one) stays at #3 even though they didn't play. If Auburn had had a "bye" yesterday, Auburn would have probably sunk in the polls! :brick:

Edited to add...oh wait a minute, the fools actually moved up one to #2 in the polls.... :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:

Sorry, just venting about those dang Trojans.

What about Florida State...did they drop any after they were almost beaten by Troy State?

Can you believe they basically stayed the same???!

Here is their poll movement (AP/USA):

week 1: 11/10
week 2: 9/9
week 3 (USA only): 10

They're getting MAJOR love because of the short week....Bowden complained that they didn't get Troy film until Tuesday.

Poor booby...

The AP polls are out now to...

1)Ohio State
2)ND
3)Auburn
4)USC
5)West VA
6)LSU
7)UF
8)Texas
9)UGA
10)FSU

Can't believe ND jumped from 5 to 2 =( You won't see that happen if Auburn or LSU demolishes the other.

Here's the poll I'm submitting today and as you'll notice, I reward teams early on. The real decisions on the teams can't be done until we get some matchups between them as we will this weekend:

1. Ohio State: Beat #1 and become #1
2. Auburn: War with LSU will tell us much
3. Southern Cal: Can Nebraska give 'em a game?
4. LSU: See AU remark
5. West Virginia: You simply know good when you see it
6. Florida: Two beatdowns and the War @ UT will comfirm or deny their spot.
7. Texas: Horns will be a better team from their loss.
8. Georgia: 3 breathers in a row for Stafford to hone his talents.
9. Michigan: Looking more like the Helmets of old.
10. Louisville: Cards O didn't miss a beat w/o Bush.
11. Va. Tech: D is there and the O is coming around.
12. Oregon: Ducks escaped Fresno State and looked pretty good.
13. Notre Dame: No love from me until its earned. Next up: Michigan!
14. Boston College: Eagles got better as the game progressed in win over CU.
15. Florida State: 2-0 and damned unimpressive.
16. Miami: 1-1 and too viable not to rank.
17. Nebraska: Huskers seem to have some spunk but SoCal looms.
18. Tennessee: Vols looking ahead yesterday? UF is Exam #2.
19. Arizona State: Still think the Devils have much to prove.
20. Rutgers: 2-0 and the Scarlet Knights get some love.
21. Clemson: One point loss doesn't diminish their potential.
22. California: Responded to beatdown quite well.
23. Iowa: Barely escaped yesterday but didn't have QB Tate available.
24. Oklahoma: Sorry but w/o Peterson, this is a pitiful bunch.
25. Texas Tech: Won a shootout in OT but needs the D to step up.

Then, we'll find out if UF can walk-the-walk or just talk the Urban talk.

PS
Bo Peep is turning into a pretty good defensive coordinator. The hitting in that Arizona game was unbelievable.

I doubt anyone regards Central Florida or Southern Miss as highly as Arizona.

I must say I'm surprised to see Bama in the Coaches poll which is the only poll I even recognize as having any legitamacy. The way we've played the past couple of weeks I'm not so sure we deserve it quite yet. When we learn to score in the red zone is when we should start doing some climbing in these polls.

Really? 'Zona hasn't had a .500 season since 1999. They haven't had a winning season since 1998.

:excl:

UCF won 8 games last year, and USM is working off 4 straight bowl trips, going to a bowl 8 of the last 9 years.
