I moved both Florida and LSU past West Virginia because I feel that they are both better teams than WVU all around.

I disagree with WVU being moved down...they are GOOD. Slaton is a beast.

WVU should be like #15. The only reason they are ranked in the top 10 is because people know they will win thier games because they don't play ANYONE.

It's somewhat of a getting double treatment. They start off high because the polls believe they will finish high when they don't lose, and then when they don't lose, they move up more.

That was probably my toughest call, but I just think that LSU and Florida are both better teams. I would have liked to move Texas down to 7 or 8, but they were playing the #1 team in the country. West Virginia looks absolutely awesome, but they're hard to measure. I'm a huge Slaton fan and think he has a good chance to win the Heismann. But because they really don't play any games that would give us a good measure on them it's hard for me to rank them up at #5.

Anyone else get the feeling that WVU might be the only undefeated team this year and might end up playing a 1 loss team for the title. Granted they have to beat Louisville, but other than that I can't see them losing to anyone. If they get through unbeaten and no other team does, would the BCS be able to deny them the right to play for the Title?

I don't know...but it would truly suck! Auburn can go undefeated...win the SEC and be left out of the MNC...and WVU can play that panzy schedule and make it...doesn't make sense.

I agree, but I'm saying if West Virginia went undefeated and every other team has at least 1 loss could the BCS keep them out of the championship game? Auburn was 1 of 3 undefeated teams in 2004, so the BCS just picked the top 2. If WVU was the only undefeated team is it possible the BCS leaves them out because they play such a pansy schedule?

No, they wouldn't be left out - they should, but they wouldn't. The only saving grace is that they would likely get WAXED by whoever they played in the MNC game.

That would be soooo sweet if your dawgs could knock them outta the race. Maybe by a score of 2-0.

Vtech did this in '99...played a weak Big East schedule...Miami was down that year...and got waxed by f$u in the MNCG...the Big East should lose their BCS bid.

the Big East should lose their BCS bid.

Agreed. They only have two legitimate contenders year in and year out. That said, West Virginia and Louisville both look very good this year.
