That was a very very good showing by the tigers. The defense was amazing, passing game was incredible, and so was teh running game, we have many good backs, 5 to be correct, 3 amazing quarterbacks. If we play like this next week against AU, i believe we will beat them. This will be a very promising season, atleast it looks like it right now.

The Tigers did look good against Arizona. The balance was incredible. They gained 200+ yards running and 200+ yards passing. The defense was awesome! Some of those hits were brutal. The game at Auburn is going to be a real event. These two teams always put on a great show.

Don't lose sight of the fact that Auburn won 34-0 over an SEC team and kicked some ass today as well.

Auburn and LSU's game next week should be the game of the week as far as I'm concerned. I haven't decided on a pick for that game yet (although I'm sure you have, GeauxTo).

Yes, Auburn looked great today. I saw the first half before I went to the LSU game, and they were looking very good. As a matter of fact, the media people that I've heard talking tonight (Sportscenter, etc.) have Auburn ahead of us.

It's going to be a clash of titans, for sure. Auburn is good in every department, plus Kenny Irons is a definite ace in the hole for them. Our best chance, I think is to stop Kenny and their running game and make them try to beat us with the pass. Our man coverage is better than theirs and we have more good wide receivers than they do, so, our passing game should beat their passing game. But we've got to stop their running game to keep the pressure on Brandon Cox. Tonight against Arizona, our defense was really strong and kept them from running, and our secondary incercepted two of their passes. But, Arizona isn't Auburn. The game will be at Jordan-Hare, which is another advantage for Auburn. If the game gets slobberknockingly brutal, I think our overall depth is a little better than theirs, so that might work to our advantage. This will be an interesting week listening to the discussions about this game!

John Vaughn made a 55 Yard FG today and last week made a 52 Yarder against WSU.
I think he'll be more then ready to redeem himself against LSU.
Honestly though I think this year's Battle of the Tigers is about as evenly matched as you're gonna have. It's gonna be SEC Football at it's finest.

Yeah, I saw that 55 yarder... it had enough umph behind it to go another 5-8 yards! What a weapon he is. All you have to do is get to the opponents 40 yard line and you're likely to come away with three. Also, I guess he puts it through the end zone on every kick off, allowing no run backs.

His Debacle at LSU last year was almost a good thing for him; I don't think we've had a better all-around kicker then Vaughn as of right now. Hopefully though we stick to the run and pass for our points. If you try to stop Irons and Lester on the run, we got CT and our other recievers to get the job done. I know having 3 Good QBs is a good thing, but I think Auburn's gonna be just fine with 1 Great QB.

that's matt clark kicking the ball through the back of the endzone everytime. I think he's kicked like 10 of 12 for touchbacks. He's been excellent. Our KOR team is deadly as well with Tristian Davis and Brad Lester back there. I don't think they have been tackled before the 30 on a kickoff.

LSU is freaking sick. I watched the replay of their game with zona late last night and I think they have the edge on defense. I think the offenses are even. QB is even(russell does have an absolute cannon but Cox makes better reads and calls at the line) RB even to a slight edge to Auburn. Coaching goes to auburn and special teams edge goes to LSU (until vaughn redeems himself against LSU he can kick all the 100 yd field goals he wants) anyway , it's gonna be a good game
'
In my homer opinion
AU 234 LSU-1
really AU 21 LSU 20
a nailbitter for sure
I'll be drunk
