Great effort by Vandy. Looks like we'll have to wait for Arkansas to give Bama its first loss.

Yeah, no one else on this board has even thought of that.

Lots of little things that could have proved to be a disaster for Bama. Heck we had to come back in Game two last year from a 21-10 deficet, so anything can happen. Vandy came ready to play, Bama just needs to settle dwon inside the red zone.

Yea, anything can happen...that is South Carolina's hope tonight...

Oh and those expecting a blow out win for Bama need to rethink that..

hey will all due respect it was just HOW they COULD win the West not that they would in fact win the West. I mean I could show you a thread on how Mississippi St. COULD win the West...

That doesn't mean they will, but hell sure they could..

well maybe not miss. st. haha

ROLL TIDE!!
I don't care how they win. Win=Win period. Besides Florida, how many "big" wins did Bama have last season (score wise)?

The D-is coming along. 3 INTs and a fumble recovery to boot. Bama will be fine this year.

agree...not great, but fine as you said.

I mean it is Alabama if they don't have a 12-0 season, the fans are accused of looking into the past.

And all the Auburn fans that accuse Bama fans of looking into the past, I don't want to hear any crying about we should have won a National Championship, because wait...that is..the Past..?

Please don't ever call me a homer again. How could I compete with this?

No one from the Auburn ranks has mentioned anything as of recently about the 2003 season. I sure haven't that's in the past and the would be opposite to what I have in my signature. Team that struggles to score on vandy is in trouble. I agree a win is a win but in the long run those struggles are going to catch up to teams who are far better than vandy and UH.

Get off youself. You beat the same dead horse last year about how Bama would go 7-4 at best. It took you mighty tigers OT to win. We still beat Tennessee and what about 31-3? 10 and 2.
Keeo thiking that I'm the homer cause I said Bama will be fine. We will NOT go 6-6. Period. Write it down. Bookmark this thread. Bama wins at least 8.
We will NOT lose to Arkansas.
We will NOT lose to Ole Miss.
Florida is in for a shock if they think they are going to blow Bama out. They said it the last three times we've played and all three time Bama walked away with the victory (last two being Bama blowing out UF).
Anyone who thinks that Bama will just lay over for them is in for a rude awakening. Sure they are young but they can still play.

No but four fingers is "living in the past"
Sometimes I think Auburn fans truly think they will never lose to Bama again. I pitty them fools .

I don't believe that a win is a win. It used to be, but unfortunately now the way that College Football works you have to blow a team out to move up in the polls. Teams like Auburn, Tenn., and Bama used to just run the ball the entire 4th quarter, but now they have to put up 50 points just because USC and Texas do it against HORRIBLE Pac-10, and Big 12 competition.

Now with that said...I don't think Bama could have blown out Vandy today haha.

Because there is NO SHAME in looking at the past. It is what made your programs what they are today.
