MSU off to a good start so far, moving the ball.

MSU defense is looking really good so far. Don't know if they have enough offense though to do anything. Could be a low scoring ball game like USC last week.

Awhile ago I read that MSU is holding Irons to 11 rushing yards. It really doesn't matter how you spin it... that's pretty damn good. I'm starting to feel a little better about our offensive struggles now.

But we have managed to score 17 in the first half.....
MSU is stacking the box which is not unexpected.
Auburn has over two hundred yards of total offense....

Is this sarcasm???
I like Croom and he has brought our defense back to respectable , but our offense is going backwards by leaps and bounds. If he doesn't scrap this offense and/or get rid of his buddy McCorvey as OC it is eventually going to cost him his job.
No way is our talent this low on offense. I see some good plays out of them that show you they have SOME ability , but too many of the plays are poorly designed and don't have a chance of gaining any yards.
I would be willing to bet that Spurrier could take these same players and score 20 to 24 points per game and that would probably = a winning record with this defense. Heck , not just Spur , ANY coach with some kind of offensive imagination.

Keep your head up Ace! When you get your starting QB back it should get better! The D is in good shape but needs help to keep them from being on the field so much! Good luck the rest of the way! Especially against the Turd Nation!
WDE! We enjoyed the game!

I don't think any QB would make this train wreck of an offense work.
Thanks anyway , your team looks VERY good and good luck right back at you.

I don't think it was meant to be sarcastic, but I understand your frustration and I agree that the OC should be responsible for the lack of production. Being shut-out twice in a row is very tough. Last I heard, y'all had recovered the ball on the 1 yard line. Somehow I thought that was the 1 yard line of Auburn, but it must have been MSU. I'm guilty of wishing for a score to avoid the shut-out.
We've been where you are and know it's difficult. Very hard to be excited about football season starting and then realize you've got a tough year ahead. But, Auburn is awesome and they're the toughest team you'll probably play this year. When we've been in a similar situation, the only thing to watch for is improvement in key players that will be back. Best of luck.
