We sure were...it's easy to armchair QB but some of this makes since. We'll be fine...with the athletes we have at WR, Meyer will be able create numberous match-up problems for defenses and spread the field for the running game....this is basically what Meyer was able to do vs f$u and Iowa last season...I wouldn't worry to much about our running game, Wynn and Manson will be ready for UT.

im ready to see if brandon james gets some carries besides on Ko return this weekend. he may the jitterbug type back that could make this running game go. cant wait till tomorrow....

i dont have any info anyone else doesnt have, but i would be extremely surprised to not see james get some touches out of the backfield. we shall see and i cant wait.

I just hope James' cutting ability/lateral movement is ready to go. I'd hate to see him lose more time because he rushed to get back.

I agree, I would probably error on the side of caution and hold him out until next week.

If we see James, it will probably be on KRs or PRs.

I doubt we'll see him in the backfield....we'll see Mon back there today, I think.

Yep...we'll definitely see Mon tonight...I don't know a lot about this guy except that he's been impressing the coaches in practice. I've also heard that he is considered a great KR and PR.

i heard he is a specimen but is having some trouble picking up the finer points of the offense. i wouldnt expect to see him much on passing downs where he has to protect.

I've been reading up on UCF, and these guys have senior experience in the right places.

I don't think we're going to lose, but I don't want to see a fourth-quarter struggle. I want it to be over at the half, and I want us to score on every drive if we can. The offense needs to come out looking like world-beaters if we're going to avoid all the UT love during the week for next Saturday....

God, I hope Chris gives WRs not named Baker a look today.....

the easy feeling im getting is that fact that ucf likes to run the ball down your throat...i dont think they will be successful doing that(i dont expect us to be in the nickel all day today) and i dont think they have enough playmakers on the outside. jmo.

uf will score 35 or so and i cant even fathom giving up 35 to ucf.

have a beer(hell, it's 2pm there) and visions of uf playing on the other side of the los all day.

I think UCF will give us a fight the same way USM did early...and I agree with caps...with Thomas and Harris coming back today and Moss getting criticized for not going harder vs USM...I think our D-Line will be a force today...O'Leary likes to run between the tackles...they'll have problems with this today...and our DB are really lookin' good, so the passing game doesn't scare me....I think the score will resemble last weekends final.

Yea...I'd love to see some sacks...the USM QB should've been sacked 4-5 times...but he kept throwin' the ball away...a couple of 'em looked like penalties, though.
