I guess Bama doesn't. I wish they did though. Last week at the Hawaii game, I had two small children screaming to the overhead helicopters the ENTIRE game. Finally after I couldn't stand it anymore, I turned around to the mother and said laughingly, "Man, those kids can scream." She just said "Well at least you don't have two drunks behind you." By her tone, I think she got my point.

After that experience, I'll take the drunks!

well Im a father so Im careful when I say this but I think parents are being selfish when they bring their children to certain events, namely a major college football game..........now 4 and up, they may enjoy the event, not cry like an infant

I think College Football Teams should have nurseries. I mean when you go to church you take the kids to the nurseries right? We all can agree that a church enviorment is more suitable for children then a college football game right..

Bama doesn't charge either..

You're probably kidding but I wouldn't leave my kid in a nursery at a football game. Get a sitter or make alternate arrangements but small kids don't belong in a football stadium, even the friendly confines of BDS.

im kidding, i don't even have kids..thank god..not that kids are bad but im only 20.
leave them at home especially for such a young age. its like forcing your kids to play sports when they don't want to. chances are they don't want to be at the game haha. yes yes BDS is friendly except this one game I went to, this gay dude was cheering and he had like a moehawk he was press, i dont know for who but he was a flamer from another country for sure.

Infants in a movie theater is still infinitely worse.

Each of my children 2 boys and a girl have attend games since age 3 to 5....my boys had to wait awhile because they we're so full of energy, but taking the kids to a BAMA game is the one of the most special moments you can share with your childeren....

Now I always sit down low ( rows 1-6 ) it gives the kids plenty of space and allows them to go down and visit Big Al and the Cheerleaders during the game....that's what they are their for to entertain.

Taking your children to the "Quad" before the game where most all activities are geared toward kids creates lifelong memories for your children......It gives you the opportunity to teach your children about Alabama's Tradition....walk the steps of Denny Chimes..... roll in the always green grass and listen to the Million Dollar Band!

Watching your childs eyes light up as the crowd roars ROLL TIDE ROLL in unison is what grabs the hearts of the FUTURE BAMANATION....the day we forget that.....well then the BEAR really rolls over in his grave........The next time you see a small child at an ALABAMA football game remember .....THAT DAY IS MOST LIKELY THE GREATEST DAY IN THAT YOUNG CRIMSON TIDER'S LIFE TO DATE.....SO SHAKE MOMMY AND DADDY'S HAND AND SAY .........RTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without that our tradition will one day die...so remember those snot noses kids, crying in the stands will one day stand up and roar ROLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL in the seat right next to you!!!

At money-grubbing LSU, everyone must have a ticket... everyone. My sister took her two year old once, but after she discovered the monetary price she was paying, she didn't do it anymore. (That child is now six and does sometimes go to the games... with, of course, a full price ticket.)

Absolute, what would you do if your child decided to pull for Auburn?

Just wondering.

Maybe that's why they charge...to discourage small children from attending. I think it's a great idea.

Absolute, I understand your feelings and it's important to expose them while they are young but in my case, the screaming went on the ENTIRE game...not cheer screaming like most fans do...this was ear piercing shrieks at helicopters. Their mother thought it was cute. I didn't. I'm taking my ear buds and radio this Saturday just in case.

At money-grubbing LSU, even the alumni band gets squeezed out of their complimentary seats in favor of more cash.

Ages 3+ isn't so bad. Infants is a bit much.

Up in the new endzone I didn't have any infants around me thankfully. And managed not to get any drunks too for a change.

I agree.

I was an assistant manager at one of the theaters in Columbia when I was in college, and I had no problem going into the theater and asking parents to take their screaming children/infants into the lobby until they could quiet them down. I quite frequently had people come up to me after the movie and thank me for doing that.

Now, 25 years later, I quite frequently go to movies, and I am still pretty quick to ask parents (or at times when met with resistance I'll get a manager to ask parents) to take noisy children/infants into the lobby so I (and others) can enjoy the movie.

haha good...well I'm a die hard duke fan and my day care teacher was hot and i was like 7 or 8 and she loved UNC, she bought me a hat and I wore that thing to death. My dad couldnt stand it and couldn't believe I was pulling for UNC. One day that hat disappeared (wonder what happend to it). My hate for UNC has grown ever since then...

Anyone remember this photo..

Our seats are way up high, but on about the 45 yard line. Here's a view from our seats from last Saturday's opener with UL-Lafayette:

I have to agree with my brother Denny. I experienced the china breaking shrills of that 3 year old and it was not pretty. I have a 16 month old daughter that I love dearly but her beautiful face will not see BDS until she is at least 6.
