formerly known as mr. spring game, baker has been living up to his potential from the second half of last year-present. i was surprised to see his stats for his last 2 games(iowa bowl game):

19 catches...270 yards...3 touchdowns....not a bad 2 game run.

here's to baker's work ethic and being the face of florida football....

I have all the respect in the world for this kid since I saw him lay out for a ball with broken ribs. That takes a man.

Dallas Baker is a great receiver. He made a lot of big plays last year and he will definitely be the go-to guy, especially inside the red zone.

Baker has worked his arse off the past couple of years...it's nice to see it pay off.

Not only is it great to see the hard work pay off on the field, but to hear the sucess he is having off the field makes it even better. Good job Dallas !!!

i saw a couple replays of some GatorGames last year and a couple of them live. most of the ones i saw it thought that Baker was better than Jackson. and Jackson is a freak of nature, so its scary to think that Baker might be just as good. i'm not lookin forward to the trip to the Swamp this year thats for sure. my cousin goes to UF and he's tryin to get me tickets. i hope it works out cause that would be an awesome game to go to.

Hope to see ya there...it'll be a great one, no doubt.

I've always like Baker better than Jackson because Baker is warrior...he'll go across the middle, jump for catches in traffic, block DBs into the ground....he's just a great all around player...and with all the extra work he's put in, will probably be an opening day pick in the NFL draft...Jackson seemed to worry a little to much about himself...didn't want to put himself in harms way.

I agree GH. I think Baker is going to put up some absolutely huge numbers this year. Game 1 was a pretty good start for him, let's hope he can keep that up throughout the season.

Yea...I thought it was kinda funny that he didn't get much "love" from the pre-season prognosticators when choosing the All-SEC teams...he's as good as any receiver in the conference.

Definitely. He may not be as flashy as some of the other receivers in the league, but he is definitely as efficient, if not more so, than any other Wideout.
