It's great to see a fan on here that appears to view their own team in a completely objective manner. I didn't see much of the Ark/USC game, but from what I hear, you guys self-destructed. I think the Hogs will be higher than #9 before it's all said and done.

I would rank them like this:
1. Auburn - They entered the season as the favorites and did nothing to take that away.
2. LSU - They showed that they have depth, and a lot of it, against ULL. JaMarcus looks comfortable and the receivers looked great.
3. Florida - Our defense is too good to put Tennessee ahead just yet. We played pretty well, but will have to improve if we want to beat Tennessee.
4. Tennessee - They showed they still have all the talent, they just needed coaching. They could definitely win the East.
5. Georgia - While the QB situation looks a lot better after Week 1, the running game was less than satisfactory.
6. South Carolina - Not a great showing on offense, but a very promising one from a young defense. Spurrier should have them ready to play against Georgia.
7. Alabama - While they struggled against Hawaii, they still have a lot of athletes. But with Arkansas looking talented this year and Schaeffer at the helm at Ole Miss they can't afford to have an off week.
8. Arkansas - USC killed them. Of course, they're not the first team. McFadden looks promising and Mustain could be the difference maker if he plays well enough.
9. Ole Miss - If Schaeffer can progress quickly this team can move up just as quickly in the SEC West. Especially with Arkansas and Alabama looking vulnerable.
10. Vanderbilt - Vanderbilt put together an impressive first-half performance against Michigan and may not be as lost as we though without Cutler.
11. Mississippi State - Mississippi State played great defense against South Carolina, but with Rutland at QB they need help on offense fast.
12. Kentucky - Their offensive performance against Louisville was somewhat inspiring and Little could see them moving up the board if he can put up some big numbers.

hey with all respect to Miss St. if you put them 12 then USC has to be somewhere from 9 to 11, because they played horrible football against...Miss St.

And Duke has played horrible football since Spurrier left.
Sorry, had to do it. In all seriousness, we played poorly on offense, but their defense played very well. We played well on defense, but no one really knows how to critique it because it was against a poor offense.
Our defense played great. Our special teams played great. Our offense played well enough to win. Tell me how they played horrible football.
Hey, I just heard on the radio that they are moving this week's Duke-Wake Forest game to the local high school stadium since there will be more people in Winston-Salem going to the Parkland High School game versus Mt. Tabor. They're going to let those two teams play at Wake's stadium.

1. UT (They beat #9 Cal, probably the biggest SEC NCG of the week)
2. UGA (Because they are the defending SEC Champs and haven't lost yet, they are still young with only eight returning starters)
*3. LSU (Still SEC West defending champs, they also held back against ULL)
*3. AUB (Solid victory over WSU, Kenny Irons looked damn good)
*5. Bama (Still underestimated, two TD's taken away, otherwise that would have made the game 39-17)
*5. UF (Struggled early on against So. Miss, before picking up the pace)
7. Ole Miss (Close game against a DeAngelo Williams-free team. The game was good, but the team is still young with only 10 returning starters)
8. SC (They have a "seemingly" weak offensive front, no telling how good their D is just yet. SC/UGA game should tell us)
*9. Arkansas (They played a solid, and tough first half against USC, but trailed off in the second half)
*9. Vandy (They too played a solid and tough first half against Michigan. But they are still unproven)
11. Kentucky (UK had a better than usual performance against UofL, but still don't have enough firepower to hang with the SEC. The Utah State game, should they win, will give them a good boost)
12. MSU (Ouch)

Wow some how we jump ships from SEC power rankings to ACC power rankings..
I don't understand this, do you know that there is an ACC forum?
Anyways back to USC, I never said they weren't good enough but based on what they have done this year its not to brag about. Sure defense was superub I give you that, but you are playing a team that was 115th in Total Offense last year, wait they were actually behind Duke. And they lost Norwood who accounted for about 45% of Miss. State's offense last year along with 66% of their TD's, and a Quarter Back who took majority of snaps is now the WR.
USC is good, but they have to prove it, Bama is good but they have to prove it, Arkansas is good they have to prove it, and until they do I have to give it to teams that are good.
Maybe I'm harsh with saying 9-11 Ranking for USC, but I'm sick of hearing from USC fans (i go to school with) saying how awesome of a victory it was.
Please beat UGA though, I can't stand them...I'm currently about 30 minutes from UGA and they are sooo cocky, put them in their place..

I'd rank them:
1)Auburn
2)LSU
3)Tennessee
4)UF
5)UGA
6)South Carolina
7)Alabama
8)Arkansas
9)Miss St.
10)Vandy
11)Ole Miss
12)Kentucky
Georgia has some real questions from what I saw Saturday. Joe T was 7-17 against western kentucky and a RB lead the team with 20 yards recieving. I think thier defense will carry them far, but not past Auburn, Tennesse or Florida and possibly not USC.
$20 on GT over UGA this year =P

Very good assessment. However, I would make RED one, BLUE two, and GREEN three.

Seems like a lot of people agree that Auburn and LSU are #1 and #2. Spots 3 - 5 have pretty much been evenly split between Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. I think the winner of the UF vs. UT game will jump the loser of the LSU vs. AU game, unless one game is so close that there is literally nothing between the two.
