Wow! That was a very exciting, low scoring defensive game.

I believe that FSU takes the ACC Crown this season. Of course it is too early to tell for sure. But, my guess is they do.

Both defenses are good...but both offenses are bad...I know it's the 1st game of the season...but neither QB looked sharp and the WRs on both sides are just bad...we'll see.

3 rush yards on 51 carries, for both teams combined! Pathetic. The D was good. The offense was the worst I have seen in a long time.

I hope we can put the-spread-option-won't-work-in-the-SEC BS to rest already....

Neither team's conventional (pro- and I-set) offenses worked last night either.

A tough defense is a tough defense....no matter what offense a team runs.

Granted. Miami finished 1 or 2 with VT last year in Total defense, I think that the game was pure defense. Which isn't a bad thing considering that neither offense had much of a showing, even with grand schemes like the Pro-Set and I formation set.

I just think FSU out-defensed them when it came to stopping UM from scoring.

You think the Gators spread offense will be enough to take out the Seminoles at the end of the year?

It certainly was last year when we rolled 'em pretty good! :D Also, the Criminoles lost a bunch of talent on the defensive side of the ball. I think we make it three in a row against Booby.

As for offense, though, can you believe free-shoes' playcalling? How many off-tackle runs (for losses) was Bowden going to call before changing it up?

They should've gone to the flare/screen game before the half.

Don't ya mean 4 in row, GN?;)

As pitiful as the offenses were in that game, it made both defenses look "All-World"...let's see how they do against a team with a little offense. Weatherford's only completions were basically jump-balls...that's the only reason they even scored 7 on us last year.

Miami's QB, Wright, is just not a good QB...he looks awesome at times...and horrible at times...and UM has no WRs...and no OL...f$u has good LBs...that's about it. Both programs are definitely down.

Watching UF win 34-7 over FSU made me proud to represent the SEC. I really can't stand FSU for the life of me, and Miami even more so.

As for the plays Bowden ran repeatedly, I don't know what to say. The guy is almost done at FSU, he's been rusty for the past few years, even with the Top 10 rankings and all.

I can honestly say I believe that UF will take FSU again this year. No defense neccessary.

GN was correct. It would be the third in a row. You lost to FSU in 2003, 38-34.

It's an "inside" joke VOL, that game has been labeled "The Swindle in the Swamp"...it's the reason ACC officials are no longer allowed to call the game.
