I am hearing a buzz in the ACC that Bill Cowher is very interested in coaching at his alma mater. I'm also hearing that he's refusing to sign a contract extension with the Steelers. Anyone????

ummmm, there is no way he would give up coaching the Steelers to coach the freakin Wolf-Pack

I think it's more than a possibility but probably a done deal. Jaws spent what, 12 years hunting that Super Bowl ring? I think all would admit luck and poor officiating had a lot to do with it but they're the champs nonetheless. What more does he have to prove in the NFL? Kind of like the opposite path Spurrier took. I definitely could see it happening.

theres plenty of reasons he would coach there

a. he went to school there
b. his kids go there
c. he just bought a house in Raleigh
d. he's already accomplished his goals in the NFL...why not try something new

He has always signed an extension with the Steelers when he had 2 years left on his contract. He has two years left and did not sign an extension.
"The Bus" recently said he believed Cowher would leave after this season...

I believe this will be his last year in the pro's, but whether or not he will end up at a college Im not so sure about.I wouldnt mind seeing him go to N.C. State though. When I lived in Raleigh I would've made the wolfpack my N.C. team but they had/have Man Tits as the coach. Any change they make from him and his clown shoes will be good.

Hey State is a good football team...when they had Rivers...

It would be a challenge that Cowher is up to I think
