View Full Version : RP to transfer from LSU
I'm hearing a buzz that RP is considering transferring from LSU because he's angry about not being named the starter. I've been looking and apparently some LSU fans have seen/heard this rumor also.

I could see why, I mean he is a great football player, and there are a lot of places he cold be a starter. It just shows you how deep LSU is.

god Flynn better transfer before Perilloux. that would be a huge loss to us considering we havent really recruited any QBs cause we're counting on him to be the man when his time rolls around. i think flynn should transfer cause he is good enough to play just about anywhere and with perilloux waiting in the wing he may never get the chance to play. if perilloux does end up transferin maybe we could look to jeremy mitchell. from what ive heard he was a badbutt QB in high school, but we want him to play receiver. just an idea, though. it would really suck if Perilloux transferred.

Those are just blogging opinions, I think. From what I hear, he's quite happy and doing a heck of a job. He'll definitely get some good playing time this year, and I know he feels like everyone else, that JaMarcus will take the early pro draft after this year (his jr. year), giving Perrilloux two years to be the man.

Right on Geaux. That's exactly what I've heard. I guess the news may be a little biased to keep LSU fans happy, but I don't think so. Everything that we've been seeing and hearing over here is that Perrilloux is doing an awesome job and knows the offense really well. He seems to get along well with all of the players and every indication so far is that he will not be a headcase or T.O. type. Now obviously he hasn't gotten a whole lot of attention because of his lack of playing time to date. But I'm with you go, I think bloggers are just trying to start stuff, because everything that I have heard about Perrilloux has been extremely positive for both him and the LSU Tigers.

Thats what I think too. However, I still think Perrilloux's kicking himself for not going to Texas.

Nice article. I never heard that he was shot and I'm from Louisiana. We got a lot of news about him when he signed with LSU, but I don't remember hearing him say that he would win the Heisman in his first year. If he did, then I'm glad he seems to have gotten his head on straight. A lot of players hurt their reputations by making comments like that and it comes back to bite them later on.
