Looks like all of those LSU wannabees from Lafayette are coming across the swamp to Baton Rouge! Talk about an abundance of Cajuns!
BATON ROUGE -- LSU's season opener against Louisiana-Lafayette in Tiger Stadium is officially a sell out, director of ticket operations Brian Broussard announced on Tuesday.
LSU opens the second year under head coach Les Miles when the Tigers face the Cajuns at 7 p.m. on Sept. 2. The LSU-ULL game is also available on TigerVision, the school’s in-hour pay-per-view network.
Broussard also said that close to 2,500 tickets remain for LSU’s game against Arizona on Sept. 9. Tickets for the LSU-Arizona game are $36 each and can be purchased on the Internet at www.LSUsports.net (http://ev10.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetGroupList?DB_OEM_ID=5200&groupCode=GS&linkID=lsu&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=) or by calling the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
The game against Arizona will mark the Wildcats’ first trip to Tiger Stadium since 1984 when the Tigers posted a 27-26 win.
