Davis was long thought to be a f$u lean...however, he cancelled his f$u visit last weekend and said he would commit following his HS team's first game...following the game, Davis told reporters that he was 100% Gator!!!!!!

UNBELIEVEABLE! Just got back from the gym and read the updates. Mark was on the cell when TD announced....to screaming and applause from his teammates and family when he said he was signing with the "University of Florida." The Noles are in meltdown mode already, lol.

This could be another verbal catalyst for a top 1 or 2 class, like Hornsby and Tebow were last year. I know it's only been a year and a "half," but these guys are supercrack recruiters....maybe the best in the conference.

No doubt...last season, we were in desperate need of WR....Meyer and Co. go out and sign the Nations #1 WR class....now, we need DL and DB...Meyer and Co. are well on their way to signing the #1 DL class in the nation...and we're in for most of the top rated DBs as well...you got it right, these guys can hold there on vs any recruiters in the nation.

i have heard that the corleys didnt want uf to take any more d-linemen....i think this was b/f mccray's saga(which i am personally sick of and hope he winds up somewhere other than uf) so their stance may of changed.

Yeah, I heard that too....I guess I remembered DEs, not DL. But it could be all DL, I don't remember.

Either way, bama can have Corley if we get Davis. I'll take that trade....but I think we get McCray regardless.

I did some research, and that was his visit list. He's already been to Gainesville (FNL, etc.), but you're right....we've cooled on DM. Apparently Meyer got tired of whatever games he was playing, and we went in a different (i.e., Davis) direction.

Long time until NSD, though....he may want to be a part of a top DL class with Davis when it's all said and done. Who knows.

I'm not as high on Martin as others are, and feel we have better/equal options in-state(Claude Davis/Antoine Carter/Adewale Ojomo). Lemmens is impressive, but the distance factor concerns me.

Torrey has been #1 on my list since I saw the SCG against Nease. He is a phenomenal athlete/player and has Top 10 pick written all over him. This is a HUGE pickup, we just have to hope he qualifies.

personally, i dont know the kid but from what i've read, everything about him is a little fishy. he gives 5 different people 5 different stories and seems to change him mind daily.

I'm with you...this guy was a regular on the GC premium board until FNL...afterwhich, he started wavering...f$u is a very dirty program...they pay "moles" to police our premium boards for recruiting info...as I'm sure they do with Miami and maybe even some of the other acc teams. It wouldn't shock me to find out that McCrary was part of this.

I really could care less...with the committment of Davis, Corley staying...Duke Lemmons, and Ian Williams....UF will be stocked for years to come. Let him have his fun...I'm just happy Meyer called him out and hopefully, pulled his offer if all of this is true.
