1st non-SC fan to pick SC second in the east.

Looks about right. It's a little surprising to see UGA so low in the East. If they find a QB, they should be right at the top.

I dont really think Memphis, Kentucky, and Miss St will be toss ups for us. I definitely think the Mizzou game will be though. Crossing my fingers for the Independence Bowl.

5-3 Conference, 9-3 Overall. That means he picks us to beat Clemson. I would be happy with second in the East and a victory at Clemson.

They have everyone losing at least two conference games, though....

Not sure that's gonna happen.

If their is any teams that will not lose more than 2 games its LSU, AU, and FL. I predict that if LSU can beat AU, and FL, we are going 12-0. Tenn will be a hard game, but after what happened last year, no way we will lose. Lsu 12-0 this year if we stay healthy, and keep one QB and not switch ppl back and forth

damn man, pretty bold prediction.....funny, the only fans to predict their team to go 12-0 are lsu fans(yeah, geaux)....at least there is much optimism in baton rouge this year but remember, the fall from the top hurts much more than the fall from the bottom....if you guys can beat au and uf at home i will tip my hat and wish you guys another nc.

LOL...yeah, a team that beat you 35-14 (42-14 if our coach would have had as much class as yours) and returns 18 starters should be nooooooo problem.

NO WAY YOU'RE gonna lose in Knox Vegas, huh? That really hurts, I guess we truly have hit bottom. Maybe we should drop down to I-AA...

I love how you say that but state no reasoning to back it up. 12-0 in the SEC? Give me a damn break! Do you know how hard that is? No way in HELL LSU beats Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, and Alabama. It just won't happen, sorry. It's too hard and too rare, and they have tough games (such as Auburn) on the road.

but after what happened last year, no way we will lose

Last time I checked, it's not last year any more. What happend last year doesn't count for jack this year.

But in the real predictions, we are behind both Auburn and Florida, seaux, you may need to heed your own words, prophet!

Auburn - definitely a tough, toss-up type game. Despite the high quality of Brandon Cox, he doesn't have the arm strength of Russell or Flynn, and, he doesn't have the quality of receivers to throw to that Russell and Flynn have. Irons is an outstanding back, but the LSU D is stout. He'll be beat to a pulp by the 3rd quarter, and you're not nearly as deep at RB as LSU is. O lines, probably about even. D lines, advantage LSU. Linebackers, LSU has two tornados in Chase Pittman and Ali Highsmith; The Barn can't match. Defensive secondary; no one at Auburn even approaches the ability of LaRon Landry.

Florida - very tough venue in the Swamp. The Gators will have a gangbusters D, but so do the Tigers. The Tiger D will stop the Leak-led spread, and even if Leak stays in the pocket, the Tiger defensive secondary is too good for him. But the Gator D won't be able to contain the WRs and the passing game of the Tigers. QB is too strong of a thrower and the WRs are too fast and too plentiful for the Gators to keep good coverage.

Tennessee - Neyland won't be a picknic, but most of these Tigers were there for the meltdown last year. They were embarrassed. Look for some serious payback, even if Ainge has it together and doesn't geaux into a psychotic fit.

Alabama - Are you kidding? A skidding D, a brand new high school QB, and a questionable O line. This is one year that the Bammers will get a thorough shellacking in Death Valley.

We may not win them all. That is a major accomplishment, for sure. But we might.

I know that everyone is gonna think that I am just trying to start up a ruckus with USC fans again, but I am being honest when I say that I just don't see USC over Tenn. and Georgia, just don't see it. But if so then watch out SEC cause the Gamecocks are spurring there way through

I don't see you starting a ruckus with us by stating your opinion. That's what this board is all about.....opinions.

At this point, I will state that I believe we can compete with both Tennessee and Georgia, and I believe we have a pretty good chance at pulling out one, or hopefully both of these games (especially since both are at home for us). However, I will not predict a winner or a score until the first game with MSU is in the book.

depending on the predictions, yes...but you are correct, that is a national issue, not just lsu or uf.....it sucks to fall to the bottom/middle when you have been on top for so long(gator fans know)....at the same time, if a fan expects his team to go undefeated, he is just setting the table for a heaping portion of disappointment.

btw, from your analysis above it seems you expect nothing other than to go undefeated....
