I read today on Volquest that it was rumored that DJ Hall has been asked to leave the Alabama football team for unknown reasons. May not be true just heard it thought I would share.

Is there supposed to be a difference in being asked to leave than actually being kicked off.

Wow...that's gonna hurt. It's sad to see such a talented player piss it all away.

Apparently, he didn't.
Just heard it on the news a while ago. Shula insisted that he go home and work this out. I'm guessing troubles with a family member. From the way it sounds he will be back one way or another. The question is when. Hopefully he can set whatever it is straight and get back for Fall practice. We wish him the best...Roll Tide!!

Good luck to him...hope everything works out.
I had heard on Finebaum that he was "associated" with the troublesome "Keyes" player that was kicked off the team a couple of weeks ago...that's why I made the "piss it away" comment.

Thats good that it wasn't disciplinary, but it still sucks to lose such a talented player. Sounds like he will be back though. Speaking of bama receivers, any news on Prothro coming back this season?

Nothing new really.
I wouldn't bet on him being back for this go-round. I hope he doesn't waste his redshirt and show up in mid-season at 75% health or so. The best thing for him to do is redshirt, complete his rehab, and come back 100% in '07 in what could be another special season for us.
