Lakeland Senior High star RB Chris Rainey has reportedly committed to the Gators...he is considered one of if not the top RB in the southeast. This guy has "owned" the camps this year...great get for Coach Meyer and staff!!!

It's about time we got a big-time back. Meyer's been complaining about the HB position since he arrived in Gainesville. Rainey could very well be the answer here.

As it stands, it looks like Meyer may even have a better class in '06. He's well ahead of his Rivals 100-pace this time last year, and, I'm pretty sure, we only need two more to tie the number of Rivals-100 signs from last year's class (6).

Looks like Meyer can recruit....

I expect Meyer to go after one...maybe two more RBs...we got the 2 coming in this year as well...I think Meyer and staff will focus more on DL, LB and DB...mainly corners...after this next recruiting cycle...we ought to be stocked up at all positions...Go Gators!!!

he definitely has a burst.......he will have to learn that at the next level it is inside first then hit the corner, but he definitely has some wheels.

I expect a combination from this group(along with Rainey): Davis, Dwyer, Marshall, and Allen, and maybe Rudell Small too.

My choice would be Davis and Allen. All things being equal, I'll go with the in-state kids.
