Fair or no? Schaeffer could be higher by the end of the season. Maybe one of the fr, Stafford will be on there too.

That's a good list. BJ Bennett is a very good source if you are looking for an educated opinion on college football. Does anyone else frequent that site?

Someone needs to inform that writer that Allbarn was 9-3 last year not 10-2. Coastal I have to disagree with you on Schaeffer, he has not done anything to warrant that praise.

I'm still not sold on Chris Leak. He is a great QB, but it seems like we dosent do well in the really big games. He is still the best QB in the SEC and ACC.

I disagree, Leak won as a freshman in Baton Rouge to the eventual MNC...he's only lost to UGA once...should have 2 wins vs UT...and has beaten f$u twice...again, he should be 3-0 vs f$u...I do agree that he's had some very bad games, though. Hopefully, he'll be better this year...it'll be the first time he's played for the same OC.

Good to see Blake Mitchell on that list! With more go-to receiver threats and an emerging backfield this could be a banner year for BM!

Schaeffer had a much better OL at UT than he will probley ever see at Ole Miss.

I certainly hope Blake continues to develop---most of us cannot fathom what he had to endure learning the complex system of Spurrier. Leak is the complete package---runs, throws--truely the best at this time. I can only hope he has an off day when we venture into the Swamp!
