For the last two years we dealt with the two/three QB system. UK is dangerously flirting with FIVE!!! Sanders can't do a freaking thing with these guys...why did they have to use 5 QB's during the spring game? Were there no emerging leaders?? Not a top 3 or 2?

LEXINGTON, Ky. - New Kentucky quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders will have plenty of pupils.
Five quarterbacks completed 24 of 37 pass attempts for 259 yards to lead the Blue team to a 46-41 win over the White Team in the Kentucky's annual spring game on Saturday.

Sanders, who resigned in October during Tennessee's disappointing 5-6 season, had spent 22 seasons with the Vols - including four as a quarterback.

Quarterback Andre' Woodson completed 8 of 11 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown and backup Curtis Pulley went 9-for-11 for 63 yards as the Kentucky passing attack - a sore spot a year ago as the Wildcats struggled through a 2-9 season - dominated the defense.

Wide receiver DeMoreo Ford caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown and also completed a 50-yard pass. Thirteen different players caught at least one pass for the Wildcats as coach Rich Brooks continued to tinker with his receiving corps.

Ravi Moss, who completed his senior year as a guard on the Kentucky basketball team last month, caught one pass for 6 yards. Moss would have one year of eligibility in football if he chooses to play in the fall.

Redshirt freshman Alfonso Smith led all rushers with 97 yards on 14 carries, including a touchdown as the offense rolled up 421 total yards.

Ben McGrath had eight tackles and forced a fumble for the defense while redshirt freshman defensive tackle Austin Moss, Ravi Moss' younger brother, added a quarterback sack.

Maybe they were looking for the one that could be stopped by the defence and never found him.
