Column from Tom Dienhart of the Sporting News. Of course all the "head in the sand" Gator fans who still think we are in the 1990's won't appreciate bullet #8 but we all know he's right :stickpoke

What I don't think after spring practices
April 18, 2006
Some writers ramble on about things they "think they think." Well, there are things I know I "don't think" as spring practices come to an end.
I don't think ...
Brady Quinn would be everyone's Heisman darling if Urban Meyer was running the spread option at Notre Dame.
Michigan is still, well, Michigan. Wouldn't it be a blast to see a guy like Mike Price coach all of that talent in Ann Arbor?
Fans at USC, Georgia or Texas should cry about finding a new quarterback. But it's OK for Vandy fans to bawl. Quarterbacks like Jay Cutler come around Vandy about once every, oh, lifetime.
The Big 12 North has a legit Top 25 team. Again.
Arkansas should start Mitch Mustain in the season-opener vs. USC. No, no, no. I don't care how loud the "Woooo, Pig! Sooie!" cries get for the Boy Wonder. Just in case, I'll start praying for the lad.
Keith Jackson ever should retire.
Rick Neuheisel should be kept out of the college game. Some school has to hire him in 2007. Please. He sure would look good in Kentucky blue.
Tennessee fans want to admit it. And I know Florida fans don't ... but Georgia is the best program in the SEC. Auburn is No. 2. And LSU is No. 3.
The Big East gets enough credit. West Virginia should be the preseason No. 1 team. Oh, you know it won't happen. But it should.
Texas should be picked to win the Big 12. I think Oklahoma deserves the honor. The Sooners are loaded at key positions. But, more importantly, they're hungry.
Any Big Ten team has a chance to get by Ohio State -- except maybe Iowa. I really like the Hawkeyes.
Many people realize the risk Wisconsin has taken by hiring Bret Bielema.
Any coach was feeling more pressure this spring than Larry Coker. Expect maybe Phil Fulmer ... or John L. Smith ... or Greg Robinson.
Enough people at LSU are worried about what could become one big ol' hairy quarterback controversy between JaMarcus Russell, Matt Flynn and Ryan Perrilloux.
Dave Wannstedt gets a fair shake. The guy is assembling great talent at a program that's built for success.
Randy Walker gets enough credit. Anyone else think if he coached, say, Ohio State or Iowa, that he'd ever lose to Northwestern? Uh, no, he wouldn't
Dennis Franchione gets criticized enough.
There's anything better than 50,000 fans at a spring football game. Is this a great country, or what?
